My wife and I just moved to the area and had seen this restaurant, put it on our list and finally made it in on New Year’s Eve for their special menu. I had the lamb lollipops appetizer with Couscous and duck breast with winter hash. Excellent choice. The lamb was perfect. I’m a huge lamb lover so to get a perfect 10 out of 10 is nearly impossible but they did it! The duck was pretty good. Nice piece of breast, cooked perfectly at medium rare and decent flavor. The hash and accompanying puree were really good. 8 out of 10. My wife had the sesame crusted tuna app. It was done exactly how it should be and a 10 out of 10. For her entree she had the Lobster Risotto. Lobster and crab were excellent. 9 out of 10. Little too salty on the potatoes and that’s coming from a salt lover so I’ll take her word on that. She don’t finish them actually. 7 out of 10. Again* special menu so don’t go there looking for these entrees or judge their normal menu off of my initial review. The corn bread and orange butter were awesome. I’ve never had orange butter before so that was a pleasant treat. Drinks. I had two campfire old fashioned with Woodford and a house made toasted marshmallow. Awesome Old Fashioned. One the best I’ve had actually. The location is easy to find. Big parking lot. Ambience decor were very nice. Clean and inviting and modern. Staff were awesome. Everyone was super cool and friendly and helpful. We are actually looking forward to going back and trying their main menu. I’ll update this review one way or the other as we try the menu. And brunch!! I haven’t been to a brunch in like 15 years so I’m excited that they have an awesome looking brunch menu.

Love it and will be coming back! The service is fast, the staff and owners are friendly and very attentive and the food and drinks are so good. We started off with the Baked Mac & Cheese and the Pork Hush Puppies, both delicious. Our entrees were the Filet Mignon and the Herb Crusted Salmon. The steak and salmon were cooked perfectly and the flavor was amazing. Personally, I’m not a fan of brussel sprouts, but the way they make them here, I could not stop eating them. Lastly, dessert… Just wow! Both, the Creme Brulee and the Apple Pie with ice cream were the perfect sweet treat to end the meal. Gotta say that everything is homemade and it makes all the difference. 10/10 definitely recommend.

The food is PHENOMENAL. You could literally taste all the flavors and spices complementing each other as you ate. The staff was super nice, the chef came out to chat with us, our off the menu drink was DELICIOUS, the music was on point and the place was beautiful and exceptionally clean. It’s not that close to home (about a half hour drive) and we will definitely be back. Soon.

What a great find! In an area full of chain restaurants, Forge Southern Comfort really stands out. Everything we had — from the appetizer to the entrée — was amazing. The flavors were spot-on, the food was perfectly seasoned, and the presentation made it look as good as it tasted.
The place isn’t fancy, and the air conditioning was cranked a little high, but honestly, the food makes you forget all that. With so many delicious choices on the menu, I’m already looking forward to coming back and trying more.

Everyone there was super friendly and we had great service. The food was delicious. You could really taste that it was fresh. I had the crab cakes and my husband had the Ribeye. Apple pie Ala mode for dessert. We will be back.

Wow, what an amazing find while doing a long drive. Couldn’t decide between the crab cakes and the ribs so I got both – delicious. Best collard greens, crab cakes were massive and tasty and the dishes were art. Kimberly serving me showed me great hospitality, and I will definitely be back

Kim was amazing, attentive, and knowledgeable. I’m really glad she told us that everything is made fresh to order including their desserts. She said there is no microwave on premises. All the salad dressing, bbq rub, sauces, and aioli are made from scratch.
Stuffed shrimp: the crab imperial was hands down the best I’ve ever had anywhere. The shrimp were filleted in a way that held all the crab perfectly and the aioli was a welcome complement to the dish.
Fried Chix & Waffles: the best chicken we’ve ever had. Fried to perfection, pecans were a nice touch, and the jalapeño maple syrup made it different from other restaurants.
Apple BBQ ribs: literally fall off the bone! Nice flavor, very moist. Fried Mac and cheese was ok! I personally prefer that crusty cheesy top layer on an oven-baked mac but this wasn’t bad.
Key Lime Pie: wholly made from scratch including the crust and whipped cream. Perfect portion size for two to share. Tangy, creamy, sweet, and delicious.

I would like to thank the entire staff. We had a private party using the whole restaurant. The entire team at the Forge did an incredible job. The food came out in a timely fashion. There was a choice of three entrees and they all came out perfectly cooked. There were 2 choices for dessert. A creme brulee or a chocolate mousse and both were delicious.

No surprise that this establishment has close to 5 stars. Service, communication, and follow up during a busy time was very efficient and we were taken right away. Stuffed shrimp was perfect and nicely presented. The filet mignon we had ordered was cooked a perfect medium and definitely one of the best I’ve ever had. Taste, presentation, and portion size were all amazing and I highly recommend coming here.
