We recently tried Forever Sushi in Puyallup. It’s a conveyor belt sushi spot, which we’re totally fine with. I honestly had no expectations going in since I hadn’t heard of it before — my wife found it through social media and wanted to give it a try.

At first, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I ended up being more impressed than I thought I would be. We’ve been to quite a few conveyor belt sushi places before, and this one had a lot of its own unique style of rolls, which we liked. I’d give it about a 4 out of 5 for this visit.

The service was okay. Most of the time, I did have to wave someone down if we needed something or wanted to ask a question, but it wasn’t terrible.

Overall, we’ll definitely be back again to try it another time and see how it compares on a second visit.

Food was very good. The vibe ain’t the best, so if that isn’t a deal breaker for you, or even a factor then this would be the perfect spot. Hamachi was delicious. Rice was the only thing I could complain about. The few other sushi joints I’ve been to in this area delivered a better flavored sushi rice.

This was good very interesting concept they have of serving food. My first time doing this but it was nice food was good. It was clean in there and server that got our drinks was ki d and explained how it works.

Went out with some friends for the sushi and after grabbing one of the deserts off the conveyer I found visible mold inside of it. Which is absolutely insane considering i had ate some of it before noticing. I did receive a partial refund for my food but still disgusting.

The husband and I had lunch here yesterday and I have to say the service was excellent. The young man that helped us was incredibly professional, polite and attentive. He is exactly what you would want every front of house employee to be. I couldn’t have been more impressed watching him train a new employee and help the entire restaurant because he was alone.
The food however is ok. My only yet biggest issue is everything that was on the belt was ice old. You can order everything fresh but when you do they make multiples of the items to add to the belt but there wasn’t enough people inside at the time to require the amount of food that was still going around and around. We made the mistake of grabbing some fried oysters that were ice cold and even some of the new items they were adding were too cold.
The best roll we had was the C Roll it’s a California roll topped with creamy scallop and although the roll was bland the creamy scallop topping was incredible I’ve honestly never had better. The Korean BBQ wings were also extremely well fried and juice but the sauce was a little too thick and overwhelming but it left a really nice aftertaste of spicy garlic goodness. The Golden Road roll had too much sauce and was way too sweet for my liking and we didn’t care for the dynamite roll. My husband enjoyed the mackerel nigiri and the gyoza but overall it was really pricey for the quality and there are better all you can eat sushi places where you can get more for less.
They have the tuxedo mousse cake for a dessert option as well and that’s hard to resist.

I used to come here a lot and loved it before, but something’s changed.

The food. Rangoons were bad. Gross even. It was sweet, I thought they would have imitation crab in them but they had orange cheese bits in them.

The oysters were really gross. I don’t really like to use those terms because I want my review to be taken seriously but seriously, but…the oyster katsu tasted like a wet sock, the texture was a nightmare.

Service was not that great did not feel friendly. We were not greeted, server forgot to ask about drinks when seating us.

The price point just was not worth it. I paid almost $70 for awful food and low quality service. This will likely be my last time as a customer.

We came here for the first time and loved it! They have GF soy sauce. I loved almost everything they had, but sadly I couldn’t eat anything labeled “Krab Salad” imitation crab that has wheat in it. Whaaa! Hopefully they can switch to a hf product. They do have real crab in some rolls. I love their spicy tuna hand rolls!

Very unique items on the conveyor belt, you’ll sure be entertained! IMO it is overpriced. 2pc of ikura for $8. 2pc of tamago for almost $4 etc. You’ll be paying for the experience. Their Korean chicken wings is so spicy! Yakisoba is the best Yakisoba ever. Indulge and have fun. There’s a single bar style sitting or a booth sitting. Servers were excellent.

Nice experience. Short wait for seating at bar for lunch. Has normal eggrolls, Gyoza, and other items for someone like me who doesn’t touch sushi. My wife enjoyed the salmon & salmon belly negri and was happy that they had Tamari (gluten free soysauce). At the price point per plate she says the quality of fish is adequate. Wasn’t the best she ever had, but says it was better than Trappers and much better than what you get at a QFC. Overall service was good and had great conversation with other guests.

Very disappointed with our experience. Our waitress barely checked on us and seemed more focused on flirting with one of the sushi chefs than taking care of her tables. We felt ignored most of the night and had to rely on another waitress just to pay.

When I made a comment about it, we were given dirty looks on the way out, which was unprofessional. We also noticed the sushi chef repeatedly typing on his watch with his gloves on and then continuing to handle food, which was concerning. Overall, poor service and questionable hygiene.
