Went for lunch twice this week with my mom and brother and the food was outstanding!
We ordered three different dishes and each had their own distinct flavor the first lunch. We mixed things up with a chicken, veggie, and pork dish the second time. Excellent, delicious food!
All the veggies on the dishes where fresh and well presented.
The restaurant seating area is very clean with good AC!
Terrific family owned and managed restaurant we plan on coming back often.

Forever was the first Chinese restaurant we discovered after we moved from NJ to Mainline Philly in 2017. We quickly got hooked on their refined Szechuan style Chinese dishes. They are very tasteful but less spicy than in China That’s perfect to our tastes. We frequently saw many Chinese students in Philly driving out to dine in Forever. And we also kept coming back. During COVID 19 pandemic we were quite worried that the restaurant might close the door. So we tried to come to eat if allowed or take out if dinning in was not possible. Over time I developed some favorite dishes and anytime I went, I always got exactly the same style and taste for my dishes. The consistency has been amazing! In my view, Forever is the best Chinese restaurant outside I476 around KOP and along Mainline.

I was in a nearby hotel in KOP for multi day company wide meetings and I needed a break, so I went here for dinner by myself. Found by a Google maps search. Not crowded at all on a Wed night so plenty of tables open. Quiet, darker, the perfect getaway from hundreds of noisy colleagues. Located in a “strip mall” with a big parking lot. Green tea was hot. Shrimp and broccoli (no rice) came out freshly cooked and hot. Good portion for the price. Could’ve fed two. Server was pleasant. Would go again.

Quality consistently good in the 6+ years we’ve been coming here, for birthdays and Chinese New Year’s feast. Fresh ingredients, skillful cutting and authentic cooking. What really sets this place apart is how relaxing it is. Several factors. Tasteful music that doesn’t trigger human fight-or-flight response; soft and warm lighting; ink brush calligraphy scrolls and embroidery artwork; attentive but non-intrusive service; spacious seating. Today (June 15, 2023) we came to celebrate our son’s graduation from middle school. The cumin crisp fish was sooo good.
July 22, 2023 update. After hearing our order, the waitress suggested moving us to a bigger table, lol. So attentive. We tried the tea smoked duck, which was out of stock last time. It blew us away! We also had the best sweet patota pie with plum syrup. Crispy outer layer gives way to tender and chewy heart. So satisfying this is our farewell dinner, as we move to Germany. We’ll explore and see if any restaurant over there comes close to the wholesome experience that Forever has been giving us.

OK this is without question the absolute worst Chinese food I has ever had the displeasure of tasting. The chicken in garlic sauce is disgusting. The so called pork fried rice was nothing more then plain white rice with some cut up pieces of pork with added frozen vegetables added. No flavor and not even fried. Just mixed in a bowl. Don’t let the color fool you. That’s the soy sauce I added. The chicken in garlic and rice I would give a 1 and the wonton soup a 5. The best thing in the bag was the fortune cookie.

We discovered this authentic Chinese restaurant while we’re charging our Tesla.
The food is exceptional.
Service is not much.
The place is clean and airy.
They should take advantage of people waiting for their Tesla to be supercharged and offer them promotions to come in.
Will definitely come back again.

Locate at a center with lots of parking spaces, the service is good, the food is delicious, with high quality of authentic Chinese cuisine flavors. The 孜然羊肉 is the best among we ordered.

Great service, nice atmosphere, freshly made savory food. All around wonderful especially for the price. Spare rib middle soup was amazing, just the right amount of spiciness. Yangzoo fried rice was excellent.

BEST ASIAN RESTAURANT IN YOUR AREA
I’ve tried many different restaurants around the area and I’m a big fan of this restaurant in KOP. Dishes taste very authentic & always consistent. I’d 100% recommend this place & their whole steamed fish since it’s my personal favorite. I’ve never had this sized of fish in anywhere else. You must step by this place if you are around KOP!
