True hidden gem! Cozy patio, beautiful views. Our server Treyah was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Food was awesome, we got pierogis, stuffed mushrooms, cajun shrimp, salad, blackened tuna, seafood risotto – all was prepared fast and it was delicious. Small but good wine list and seasonal beer. Recommend this place if you are in the area!

We have been wanting to try this restaurant while up at camp for a while, we finally went and tonight. Our waitress(I forget her name) was great, and the food was delicious! The seafood chowder was amazing, as was the calamari. My brother got a burger and fries which was huge, my sister in law got the chicken piccata, and I got the sirloin risotto. We will definitely be back!

My sister and brother in law and I ended up here on a whim for dinner and it was excellent. Definitely not what you expect when you find this restaurant tucked into the trees. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. We ordered the jalapeño poppers with habanero peach cream cheese, chicken cordon bleu with pierogis, steak risotto, and the seafood risotto. They were all super delicious. Definitely recommend a visit!

“I really wish I could say this was a great experience, but management made sure it wasn’t. I ordered the streak gorgonzola a steak pasta dish and the steak was so overcooked and tough it couldn’t be eaten. I sent it back, & asked for a replacement — but nothing ever came, the waitress had to tell me that the chef/cook couldn’t prepare the steak any other way because of the cut. They simply took it away, and never offered anything in its place.
When I suggested it would be fair to comp a beer, our waitress kindly agreed. But when she brought the bill, she was clearly uncomfortable — management had refused to cover even that. She ended up paying for my drink herself just to make things right.
That’s not just poor customer service, that’s poor leadership. No employee should have to reach into their own pocket because management can’t do the bare minimum to correct a mistake. The only reason this isn’t a 1-star review is because of our waitress , Danielle — she handled the entire situation with grace and professionalism she shouldn’t have needed to. She deserves five stars and a better place to work. There are some people in this world that deserve more and Danielle is one of them!

Just outside of Warren in the middle of nowhere sits this tavern. Our drinks where served in plastic cups. There was a man singing on the patio.

Oh my goodness, what a gem! So glad my husband and I finally made this trip. The food was absolutely incredible, our server was wonderful, and I love the inside of the place. The seafood chowder is literally the best EVER. Can’t wait to go back!

Cozy atmosphere with good service. Steak was tender, chowder had good flavor but quite salty. Tacos were good. Overall a good little spot in the woods. The bang bang shrimp appetizer was a favorite !

We paid our first visit to Forester recently and had a great experience. The restaurant is just outside of Warren, PA. The menu is great with a wonderful variety of choices, it was almost hard to choose. I ordered the Steak and Shrimp Italiano and it was delicious. The steak was a good portion and cooked to perfection. The shrimp and toppings were delicious. I ordered it with their homemade sweet potato fries and they were also wonderful. He ordered a burger and fries and the burger was huge. Neither one of us could finish our meals. The service and atmosphere were wonderful. I’m so glad we came across this restaurant. Can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu. We were told that reservations are typically recommended Friday nights but we got lucky!

Nestled just a short way off Rt 62, you will discover a hidden gem! From the moment we were greeted by the bartender, to the farewells when leaving, our dining experience was so wonderful!
Our meal was staged perfectly! As I am a very slow eater, I never felt rushed. All of their sauces and dressings are superbly made in house with just the right flavor. My husband had the Seafood Carbonara and I dined on the Seafood Risotto. All I can say is Chef’s kiss!!! Seafood was cooked perfectly! Tantalizing with every bite!
The atmosphere was so warm and welcoming. You could very easily enjoy a special anniversary, birthday, date night or just a casual stop by! We are so looking forward to our next visit when in Warren!
