Stopped by for some drinks before a show at the Santander Arena nearby. The bartender welcomed us and helped us pre-game with a variety of shots and cocktails. Friendly crowd where everyone was chatting up with their neighbors at the bar.

The best Coney Island Hot Dogs this side of the Mississippi. I visit this place or try to visit this place at least once a month. By far their Coney Island dogs are the BEST in Reading and in Berks County. There are others, but none stand up up against these guys. In fact, there has only been one better, “Crystal Palace” and they have been gone for a long while. If you ever get a taste for a Coney Island dog or burger, head to the Forest Inn. The bartender is the greatest. Very attentive to the customers even when they talk his ears off. The burgers and fries were delicious. Has multiple skill games. The drinks are made nice and strong. No drama or bs every time I go. Clean establishment.

Food is good and so are the drinks, service is great and they’re quick with making food but everything is a little pricy but expected for a bar. Overall not too bad but could be better on cleaning.

A couple friends and I stopped at Forrest Inn to pregame prior to an event. Seems like your typical dive bar when walking in. But Harry was a one man show; serving up drinks, cooking, running food, and amazing customer service. The food has cheap prices with great flavor. I went back for a second basket of the fresh cut fries. Definitely worth stopping in and checking it out. Daily drink specials too

Best hot dogs and really great service in town. Harry is always smiling and makes me feel so welcomed. He feeds me hot fresh food in between homecare cases. My grandson loves their fries and chili cheese hotdogs. Big difference from the last owners. what an improvement ❤️

We stopped in a few days ago and asked for a Martini. We were surprised we were met with “we dont make those kinds of drinks”. They also had no wine. There is a first time for everything. We decided to start at 10th & Penn and walk down to 2nd and Penn. Every other bar on Penn accommodated us like a Bar does.
