Went here for the first time in several years… still amazing. Excellent food, excellent service from sit down to when I paid the bill. The amount of 1 star reviews is a sad reminder that cognitively challenged people can write reviews too, and despite their misguided views on food and drink, they still deserve our utmost compassion. We stopped here for lunch on our way to the airport. What a great find!
We were greeted happily at the door and asked if we wanted to sit in the dining room or the bar – we chose the bar. Both areas have great seating.
I ordered a hamburger and it was delicious! I ordered it med rare and that is exactly how it came. Sweet Potato Fires were an option and I asked the waiter if they were crunchy and he said he would have them cooked well done – no one likes soft sweet potato fries! So happy I made that choice because these were probably the best sweet potato fries I have ever had!
They also have a very nice area to sit outside .
I really loved everything about this place – the people were kind and efficient, all the food we ordered was really good and the beer was cold.

The Foreside Tavern is the place to be! As someone who has been going here on and off since I was a young child with my family, I can happily review that the tav is currently the best it’s ever been in my experience. The menu has such a wide variety for every type of taste. The pan fried haddock, foreside nachos, and Caesar salad with salmon are some of my staple orders that never disappoint. I have never had an even slightly bad experience at the tavern and I recommend it to anyone I know. All staff are friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have a positive experience. I tend to enjoy sitting on the bar side but all areas of the restaraunt are inviting and full of good vibes. The seasonally rotating menus always bring new surprises while holding onto staples. Cocktail and drink menus don’t disappoint either quite a few fun options! I’ve had anywhere from dinner groups of 2 all the way to 20+ via phone call or online reservation and been accommodated kindly!

Great food and service! The Morrocan sea food stew was delicious and cooked perfectly. The Salmon dish was also delicious. The bread was fresh and tasty. Our waiter, Burt, was excellent and very attentive to our needs. Will be back for sure

We randomly saw this place while getting gas across the street. We are here from Canada passing through. The outside didn’t scream to come in so wasn’t sure what to expect. Can probably be a little more inviting BUT the food and service was outstanding. Best nachos I’ve ever had. Fish tacos were also really great. We sat on the patio which was beautiful! Again from the outside you’d not expect it. The staff were very friendly, helpful and fast. Everyone said goodbye as we left. It was a perfect stop over and exactly what we wanted.

UPDATED:Single diner not permitted to sit at a two person hi-top. Offered a bar seat only. Did not stay for a personal celebration dinner. I received a response from the restaurant. Your hostess indicated One reserved high top up front. She had no answer about the availability of the pictured table. I used to enjoy visits there a lot. I don’t ever remember going to the dining room because the bar is inviting, usually.

This place has gone downhill after covid. They have raised their prices trying to makeup for covid and the loss of business since Sicilian Table opened. Sadly, the quality of the food has gone down. Save yourself some money and enjoy better food.. go eat at Sicilian. You will get better food for a cheaper price.

They get “to busy” to do takeout. Just another way of saying we are lazy and do not want to deal with you.
UPDATE: I decided to give them another try. What a mistake! They have raised their prices while lowering the quality of their food. I ordered a fish and chips. The portion is smaller than what it once was and the fish looked and tasted old. Not sure if they cooked it earlier and just warmed it up or if they are actually serving old fish. It was disgusting and I could not eat it.
If you want a good meal go to Sicilian Table instead. The quality of the food and the atmosphere blows this place out of the water. No comparison. Not to mention the prices are cheaper. Interesting response from the owner on my last review telling me to go find another restaurant to cook my food.
GLADLY…. I will go to Sicilian Table where they actually take pride in their food instead of serving slop. Save yourselves from a horrible dining experience and go eat elsewhere. Oh if you want ketchup with your fries you actually have to ask apparently. $25 for bad fish and chips and they cant even remember to put ketchup into the bag. Its not difficult guys.
