Awesome experience at Ford’s Garage

Burgers were cooked exactly as ordered, good crust on the meat, juicy inside, and well seasoned without being salty. The bun was fresh and held together. Fries came out hot, crispy, and evenly cooked, not greasy. Appetizers were served hot, portions were right, and nothing tasted rushed or reheated. Drinks were well made and served cold, with refills coming on time.

Service was organized and attentive. Orders were taken correctly, no mistakes, and all plates arrived at the table together. Timing was smooth from start to finish, without long waits.

The décor is very well executed. It feels like a garage, but done with fine details and a clean, polished look, not cheap or overdone. Everything was clean and well maintained.

Overall, good food, solid service, and an atmosphere that’s clearly thought through. I would return.

Ford’s Garage is a burger and craft beer restaurant that opened its first location in Fort Meyers in 2012 near the Edison and Ford Winter Estates. When they opened they hadn’t secured the rights to use the Ford name. When contacted by Ford Motor Company they expected a cease and desist letter and instead were surprised to learn the car company liked their concept and wanted to work with them. A deal was struck in 2014 that allowed the restaurant to use the iconic logo, archival images, and even have actual Model T’s. They have now expanded to more than 20 restaurants in four states including this one in Plantation Walk that opened in 2023.

Ford’s Garage is known for their cocktails and burgers. I love all the attention to detail like the gas pump door handles, tire sinks and gas pump handle faucets in the restroom, a craftsman tool cart used as a buffet, oil rag napkins with hose clamp napkin rings, old photos on the wall, Model T horn blaring, and actual car suspended over the bar. If you are a gearhead or Ford history fan like me you will love their decor.

The gastropub style menu features wings, hot pretzels, nachos, soups, salads, burgers, sandwiches, and comfort food plates. Dessert is lava cake, key lime pie, turtle brownie, caramel apple cookie skillet, and milkshakes. They also offer a weekend brunch. We arrived in time to enjoy the weekday lunch menu which includes the signature Chicken Henry and a soup and salad which I enjoyed with the French onion soup. Service was prompt and attentive. Note that they automatically include the tip but they were upfront about it. I have been to several Ford’s garages around the state and it is nice that they opened one closer to home.

Dropped by Ford’s Garage in Plantation for a casual dinner, and overall it was a good experience. The place has that cool 1920s service station theme going on—vintage cars, old pumps, and garage decor—which makes it feel unique and fun without being over-the-top. It’s a nice change from standard chain spots in the area.
I started with the Blue Margarita (Blue Oval Margarita on their menu), and it was pretty tasty—refreshing, not too sweet, with a nice tequila kick. It hit the spot on a warm evening and was a solid choice if you’re in the mood for something colorful and frozen/rocks style.
For my main, I went with the Blackened Salmon. It was cooked decently—flaky and flavorful with good seasoning from the blackening—but nothing mind-blowing. The portion was fair, and it came with sides that were okay (nothing stood out as exceptional). It was satisfying without being exceptional; I’d call it reliably good for pub-style dining.
Service was friendly and attentive, and the place wasn’t too loud even when busy. Prices felt reasonable for the area, especially with their happy hour options if you time it right.
Not a must-return-every-week kind of place for me, but definitely worth stopping in if you’re craving American comfort food, a craft beer, or just a themed burger joint. I’d go back for drinks or to try one of their famous burgers next time.
Solid 4 stars—fun atmosphere, decent eats, no major complaints.

This is the first time we have come here and it’s exactly what you’d expect.

The atmosphere here is amazing and is 100% Ford themed. From the old cars out front, the gas handle door handles to the motors inside, it’s all about Ford. They are also very pet friendly.

The drove was spectacular and they get you everything ASAP. They are extremely nice and responsive and have no issues answering all your questions.

For the food, the pictures speak for themselves. I had the Brisket burnt ends sandwich, my wife had the Avocado Salad and our friend had the American burger which had a Ford stamp burned into the bun which was pretty cool. Everything was full of flavor and was great to the last bite.

Overall, I would 100% recommend you come and check it out. You will not regret it.

This review is overdue. I frequent this establishment with my best friend it is our absolute go to. Why?
Three words. Pulled pork nachos. OMG! Fantastic portion for the price and what can I say they are absolutely delicious.
We also go because the establishment is very clean always well staffed – the staff is always very friendly and on point. We love sitting at the bar grabbing a beer (which stays cold by the way due to their fantastic iced bar) and listening to some tunes.
The decor is amazing for a Ford restaurant. They did a great job bringing back old-school items.

If you’re in the area you definitely want to check this place out.

First time coming here, and although I did enjoy it, there were a few things I didn’t relly like.
Firstly the location in the ever so popular Plantation walk, with lots of entertainment, shops and few other places to eat as well.
The area is lively and often times hosting family events.
A group of us decided to meet up, and this was here the majority decided on.
Tyler our server was amazing! Such friendly individual.
Restaurant was clean, and seems well organized and heavily staffed.
When we visited, it was not too busy, only a few other tables were occupied.
We were seated right away.
After reviewing the menu, normal everyday items seemed a bit over priced.
Again, I know this might be due to its location.
I ordered a wings appetizer, along with a mango margarita.
Wings were $19.00, and the marg rounded up to $14.00
The margarita was delicious, more like a fruit drink almost, didn’t really felt like there was alcohol in it. It definitely lacked the smell or even taste of tequila.
Wings were good, fresh and steamy when they arrived. Their Nashville hot is not that hot, if you like a little hint of spice, you’ll be OK with these. Don’t let the name intimidate you and get them.

Key thing to note, if or when you visit, the restaurant will automatically tack on a 20% gratuity to your bill, regardless of group size.
A group of 10, or just a single person the charge will be on the bill.
Which in some instances that might be fine, but for a person coming here to grab just an appetizer and a soda, or a beer, 20% seems a bit much.
I’m not sure that I will be back anytime soon. We shall see.

I’d like to start off by saying Daniella was an outstanding server! She went above and beyond to accommodate us no matter the request. Food was a home run and happy hour drinks did their job (I need em cuz wifey is dragging me to a Cirque De Soleil show). Thanks again Daniella!

We had an amazing experience at this location. Casey & Javier provided excellent service. The food was really good. We had the onion rings, nachos and crispy chicken sandwich. The attention to detail was great! Hose clamps as napkin rings, shop rags as the napkin, buns seared with the company logo. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and can’t wait for locations to open in NJ.

I had not heard of Ford’s Garage before so at a friend’s suggestion we met here for lunch. It wasn’t busy so we were seated promptly. As the name suggests, the whimsical decor is an ode to Ford with merchandise available for purchase.

I decided on the “Mushroom Swiss”burger with a veggie patty on a brioche bun and the “Truffle fries”, along with the “No Octane Guava Fizz.” When my order arrived, it was presented beautifully and I looked forward to biting into it; however, my meal was underwhelming as it lacked flavor overall. As for the drink, half of the glass was filled with ice and I did not taste that specific guava flavor that I was expecting. *Also note that there is a 20% mandatory service charge that is added to the check.*

Although the food wasn’t to my liking, my companion enjoyed her “BBQ Brisket” burger so go ahead and try it out for yourself. Be certain to check out the bathroom too as is very unique!

First time coming to this location and it was very welcoming. We were satted as soon as we arrived and were greeted instantly by the hostess. Our waitress was Daniella and she was extremely welcoming and informative of what was on special and answered our questions. We love when our waitresses/waiters are interactive and she was it. Would love to have her when we go back
