We had the pretzles and they were spectacular!
The salmon salad was exceptional and huge. The fresh buttermilk battered chicken tenders were better than many upscale spots and the fries were uncomplicated perfection!
Not just a theme destination but more a great restaurant with fun design.
I would return here to try the burgers as soon as many around us were ordering burgers and the fun onion rings.
But the best part was our server Lisa, she was so much fun and accommodating. She really made our experience great!
Our burger club recommends Fords Garage in Lexington is a must stop on the way to find the perfect burger
The menu has a great selection of American classics and comfort food. I really liked how you could order a burger and choose a different meat.
(Traditional Beef, Turkey Burger, Grilled or Fried Chicken) The food was fresh, hot, & delicious. The presentation was great and the service excellent. I would highly recommend trying Ford’s Garage. You won’t be disappointed.
Interior photos, along with the American Standard burger in which I selected grilled chicken for the meat are posted with the review.
We stopped in after a UK game. It was very busy, but even so, we were seated quickly (just two of us). We started with the Buffalo Chicken Dip, which was very good. Their popular appetizer is the giant onion ring stack that comes on a long metal tube shaped like an old-school funnel—we’ve had that in Florence, so this time we wanted to try something different.
I ordered the cheeseburger with fries, and it was excellent. The beef tasted high quality and cooked right. My nephew got the brisket sandwich, and he said it was delicious. It definitely looked the part too—every bite came with a perfect pull of cheese.
Great atmosphere, great food, and great service even when they’re busy. This is my second time dining at a Ford’s Garage, and it definitely won’t be the last. I won’t spoil everything—go check it out and enjoy the experience for yourself.
As for the food, I had the high octane burger and some onion rings. The rings were good, the burger was decent, but nothing you can’t find at similar restaurants that offer a fancy burger. It’s good, but nothing that blows you away.
The service was the same. My server was nice, did all the things you would expect, but nothing over the top. This is not a critique or a negative.
It seems like it being new brings some hype. I waited about 40 minutes for a table for a party of one. If you value your time, maybe wait a bit before trying this place.
It was a tad loud but I think it’s like that because we were seated in the open area for larger parties.
