I was in South Riding and was looking for something different, my wife likes seafood I do not eat any seafood. We were seated very quickly. The waiter took a few minutes to come over, I asked could I get the chicken strips for an appetizer of the kids meal, he said no it is a kids meal. We did not order appetizers because of this reason, it gave a negative impression to me and my wife. I ordered a hamburger and a half rack of ribs, my wife got the fish sandwich with fries and Cole slaw. The waiter keep up with drinks (soda) never really checked on us after we got the food. My wife said the food was very good, the ribs were good, the burger was just OK it seemed hard it was medium cooked pink in the center. I will go again I hope it will be better service.

I love their Fish & Chips, they are always delicious. I’ll have to add photos of the meal next time.

The new location at Eastgate is huge! The lobster roll was a delicious as ever…I gave 4 stars because it’s smaller than previously. It’s expensive (but a nice delicious treat) for a sandwich so PLEASE bring the old bread/size back. Calamari is a fantastic app.
Our waiter was great! We stayed until closing because we got there on the later end, and he was patient as I know he was ready to head out. The reason I gave the atmosphere a 4/5 is because I loved the cozier-dim atmosphere in South Riding. The lights are bright, LED and is just too bright to me. There’s also no walls in the open space so it’s like you’re eating with “everyone” unless on the side near the bar window.

The food was excellent and the service was top notch. We ask for additional food to take home. The server asked if we wanted the food now or just before leaving so it wouldn’t be sitting there getting cold. Kudos to her for at least asking. The jumbo shrimp were delicious. The white wine sangria was good enough to order a 2nd. Be careful though, they are $32 per pitcher. The shrimp tacos tasted very good and recommended. I did order a crab cake side, for the price, it wasn’t worth it. I personally could not recommend it.

Oh Fords! Always busy, always lively, and almost always spectacular. I have been here numerous times and have always loved it. The décor is friendly and whimsical, and the ambiance is full of life. The food is almost always to die for (not literally) and their drinks, too. I keep saying almost, because this one time, the food was not good and the service was not good. We decided to try out a few appetizers together and we had a great time, but the clams and the mussles were really unappetizing. The shrimp was spectacular! The service was not good mostly because of language barriers and us being misunderstood a lot. However, I will still rate a four because of the great past experience we have had there. I do recommend going especially if you have kids, it’s very kid-friendly, but it’s not cheap. Reservations will save you a lot of time, especially during rush hour.

Always enjoy Ford’s. The Calamari is always very tender. The cherry peppers and lobstah ginger sauce take this dish to a new level. The Faroe Island Salmon salad is very good! Salmon was cooked perfectly medium. Service was fantastic.

Local’s first time dining in @ Ford’s new location. Love the ambience, came in for L.INNER, sat @ the bar. Shout out to our bartender, Geison. The oysters were amazing. Stopped in during Happy Hour, unknowingly, so that was an extra bonus. Everything was fantastic. This is def the new spot for HH.

One of the best seafood restaurants in South Riding area. Oysters are fresh in any way you want them deep fried, raw or baked. Great food. Fries are good and the lobster rolls as well. The best deal is that on Mondays oysters are $1.

Wow this seafood is hands down amazing! Probably the best tasting seafood we had in a while. We had the Rhode Island Calamari, Grilled Lobster Tail, Fish & Chips, Broccolini, Seafood Basket (Fried Shrimp, Sautéed Shrimp) and Caesar Salad. We ordered online, arrived, parked in Ford’s pickup parking spot, clicked URL to say that I’m here, called the phone number to let them know where I am parked, someone came out and told me that we selected 545pm as our pickup time and he said he would put our order through, that was around 5pm when he spoke to me. A little later, the young lady I spoke to on the phone brought our food to me. Highly recommend! The food is so good, we decided to pickup here again and the food was still amazing. Would be nice to have 2 cups of tartar sauce since you get so much fish with the fish and chips meal. This time, we tried fishwich and macaroni and cheese along with some things we ordered last time.
