You have to try this locally owned and operated restaurant when you can! We went for the first time searching for some pizza in North County. We had THE BEST PIZZA on the west coast we have ever experienced. Both pizzas and the pasta dishes our kids ordered were off the charts excellent! Icing on the cake the young husband and his wife work the restaurant old school style. They took our order and truly were interested if it met our expectations. Didn’t learn they were the owners until the end of the meal. All the staff are extremely friendly and speed of service was outstanding. I highly recommend. We will be back for sure! Highly recommend! Really great positive energy at this venue.

Not as good as it was before. No hot honey on the Hawaiian, the pizza sauce is different and bland, the ham was dry and our Caesar salad lettuce was red on the ends. Bummed because it used to be so delicious. The new owners seem nice and I wish them the best.

Sorry but we have to downgrade from 5 stars.
The eggplant parmigiana panini and marinara spaghetti were not edible. At least 5 times the amount of salt needed. My mouth burned from the salt after 2 bites. My wife put down her fork after 1 bite. Maybe wine and beer go well with this but we don’t drink. We lost our appetite and forwent the desert expresso treat.
PS: Please let patrons add their own salt amount from the available shaker.

From Neapolitan to new york style, now back to authentic Sicilian home taste. The mulberry pizza has been upgraded/renamed to italia, more chewy flavorful thinner dough and ripe cherry tomatoes fresh basil with great cheese. The garlic sticks are chewy pizza dough, not typical italian bread. The ceasar salad dressing is top notch. The expresso coffee machine is back, to complement the light and creamy spongy ricotta pistachio cake! Service is very attentive and now reservations are accepted. PS Feel free to speak Italian

This is our favorite go to Italian restaurant. Everything is so fresh and homemade. The owners are so friendly, all around a lovely experience every time we are there! I had the eggplant parm the first time and the last time I had the lasagna. The noodles are freshly made and thin so it doesn’t feel heavy, it melts in your mouth. The sauce just as delicious. Also a must try is the artichoke app, yummy!

A truly authentic Italian restaurant. The pasta, pizza and desert’s were delicious. The Eggplant Parmigiana was amazing. Crispy and a very thin batter.
The pasta is a choose your style and sauce. The Bolognaise was excellent. Also, pizza was great, excellent crust.

Good, ok at best, service flawed; the waiter was obviously rushed & was too busy to give good service; apparently, there wasnt enough help. The best part was that the service was fast. The manager, or the woman who seems to be in charge comes to the table, did not make any attempt to satisfy or be nice to the customer. The food was served a little less that lukewarm & had to be sent back. The prices on the menu were lower than what they charged more than the menus prices and were very misleading. The ambience was the best part.; They had nice lights & outside heaters.

Outstanding Italian restaurant! Owned and operated by a wonderful Italian couple, we thoroughly enjoyed the food and personalized service. I ordered the gluten free pizza and I had to double check that it was actually gluten free when it arrived, it was so good! A real gem!!!

This restaurant is smaller in size than other Buona Forchetta restaurants and not in a very happening location, however the food is equally good. They have outdoor seating with heating available. I really liked their Raviloli in Vodka Sauce, the New York style pizzas were good as well. Our server Michelle was great, we had some questions about the menu and she answered them well. I felt welcome at the place and left happy. Exceptional service!
