My husband and I dined at Forchetta Italian Eatery for the first time last night, and it was amazing! The bread service with garlic-infused oil was delicious, and the freshly shaved beef carpaccio was a perfect start. We loved the gnocchi alla Sorrentina, chicken marsala, and a side of meatballs. Even though we were full, we couldn’t pass up the tiramisu, and we’re so glad we didn’t! The entire staff was warm and welcoming, and we even had the chance to greet the chef and thank him. Truly a wonderful dining experience!

Order the Porcini! Breathtakingly delicious, I wanted to eat every single bite on that plate. The olive oil for the bread is also infused with fresh garlic and herbs which was fantastic. Bruschetta was delicious as well. Unfortunately I’m not a local, otherwise this would be a regular spot for me! Can’t wait to come back at some point. Bravo, 5 stars across the board. Austin is a fantastic server! Thank you for a nice night with my sister 🙂

The fresh vegetables added a bright, welcome balance , but the real surprise was the homase noodles — delicate, flavorful, and the perfect complement to the dish .
And then there was the gnocchi. My husband couldn’t stop raving about it — soft, pillowy, and clearly made with care . Every bite felt like comfort and craftsmanship in harmony. We’ll absolutely be back for more.

We walked in on a Friday without a wait. The staff was friendly and the food was enjoyable. We started with calamari and a Caesar salad. The calamari was well breaded and fried but a little too salty for my taste. Still delicious. As for the salad, the dressing was heavy on that oil
And could have used a bit more zest but it was fresh and light. We also ordered the carciofi alla Romano which was perfect! Definitely a must have when we return. For our main meals I had the veal piccata and my daughter had the gnocchi alla Sorrentina. The gnocchi was fresh and the dish was well seasoned with lots of flavor. The veal was tender and evenly cooked. Flabio(?) was a great server with a heavy accent and good sense of humor.

We’ve been searching for authentic Italian restaurants and finally found one: Forchetta Italian Eatery. We just experienced true fine Italian cuisine with an unmistakable Italian touch.
The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The owners were genuinely friendly, and our server was outstanding. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, cozy, comfortable, and immaculately clean.
The food was second to none. Every dish reflected authentic Italian flavor, and the pasta was cooked al dente. We were truly impressed.

When the hostess found out we did not have a reservation she turned what I would describe as hostile. My wife needed to use the facility and was being blocked by the hostess. We were seated outside which was fine by me. Our server was very friendly and attentive. My eggplant Parmesan was mediocre by all means. The sauce on my pasta was good but the portion was ridiculously small for the price. My wife’s dish said it was good but we came home with a large to go bag.

Why can’t I give this place 10 stars?!? Honestly, I’m the biggest food snob and THIS IS MY NEW FAVORITE Italian restaurant. I travel alot and I’m always trying new places. Before visiting Forchetta, my favorite Italian restaurant was on the hill in Saint Louis MO… but now Forchetta has the #1 vote for the best food and service.

I had a friend visiting from out of state and I decided to take her to Forchetta Italian Eatery and we had an amazing experience .
I had the homemade Fettuccine ai Porcini and she had the Gnocchi alla Sorrentina both meal were a 10/10 and especially that we paired with the white wine Anthium also a 10/10 !
Definitely coming back to try other dishes.

I have driven by Forchetta many times and finally had the opportunity to try it. We ate outside which was lovely. The owners and the wait staff were incredible – very proud of their restaurant and went above and beyond to make it an elevated experience. The food did not disappoint – you could tell that everything was fresh, the pasta and the bread was home made, and the wine selection was very unique. The entire experience was 5 Star +. Excellent food, very friendly people and an overall pleasant experience. I HIGHLY recommend if you’re looking for a local Italian restaurant!
