Located in the center of Waimea Town, FORC sits in front of the historicWaimea Country Lodge. Our style is open, relaxed, ohana-friendly, and full of Aloha. There’s a bar area, indoor/outdoor seating, main dining room, and separate dining room available for private events. Offering renowned Chef Allen Hess’ flare on a traditional country kitchen with a few dishes paying tribute to classic local favorites starting with Happy Hour, and Dinner. Dinner takes a fall break every September so join us for Brunch instead! Allen Hess expanded on local land and sea offerings and developed menus both distinctive and creative in his newest restaurant. The evolving menu aims to provide returning guests a new culinary experience with each seasonal visit.

This is one of the best dining experiences I have had in a long time. I had an amazing steak cooked to perfection. My boyfriend had the miso fish. He can’t stop talking about how he wants to eat that meal all the time. Service was warm and sincere. Chef Allen is a fantastic human supporting eating local. The atmosphere was relaxed yet you felt you were eating the best of the elevated ranch style dining. Forc is everything Big Island cuisine is meant to be. So fantastic to see it come to life.

My wife and I both had steak. I had the New York, salt and pepper only, and she had the Ribeye, with mushrooms and cabernet. I just had a feeling the New York was going to be amazing and, oh boy, it did not disappoint.

The food tasted great! I loved the bone marrow butter with the bread. I wish they had the bone marrow available to order. The dishes were presented exquisitely. I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant as well. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because it took over 30min to get our food and they were out of the bone marrow. I’d come back to eat again!

Get a reservation and we’re seated promptly. We got a warm welcome for our anniversary celebration and got a few great cocktails. The mushroom poke was crazy flavorful and the poi had fresh tomatoes and some broth for a good twist. The kicker was the best ahi sashimi I have ever had. Gnocchi was great too.
