A good but not great steakhouse. Friendly but slow service. Cocktails took a long time to arrive. They ran out of baked and mashed potatoes, which can happen, but it pretty rare for a steak restaurant. Salads and soup great. The GM was exceptional reccomending wine, but again took a long to get the bottle. He decanted the wine which is a rarity in most restaurants. Steak was good but again not exceptional. The extra cost bearnaise sauce was white and tasted more like mayonnaise.

This is a wonderful steak restaurant.
It was our anniversary, and they took the time to make a special anniversary menu with our names on it, and made us a complimentary dessert.
The wait staff (especially Tony) was extremely attentive, informative, and engaging. He even took the time to take our pictures to memorialize our event.
Other staff also helped us, suggesting desserts, as well as just engaging in friendly conversation.
They seated a few of us, who were celebrating anniversaries, in the same vicinity, so the mood was very festive all around.
Now, about the food. It was delicious. My steak was perfectly cooked, and my dates beef short ribs were also delicious. The sides were really good too.

We made reservations at 7pm on a weekend and the parking lot was pretty crowded. When we entered, it is a lower lit spot with a celebratory feeling. Started with the pear gorgonzola salad which was simple but enjoyable. We said we were sharing so they helped split it for us. I had the cowboy ribeye medium rare and it was cooked right. I changed the side to creamed spinach. We were celebrating a birthday and the birthday boy got his dessert before we got our dessert menu. Didn’t stop me from trying the tiramisu.

We have been striking out with restaurants, until now. Forbes mill did not disappoint. The steak was perfect. I actually got a medium rare, like I ordered. The taste was great. The lobster tail was cooked perfectly and not chewy. All and all, we are very happy we found this place. We will return again but I will take pics this time.

Everything was delicious. Calamari was lightly battered and very crispy. Cesar salad dressing was perfectly balanced with the citrusy. Shrimp scampi was generous. Look at the shrimp and the linguine was cooked to authentic perfection. Rib eye steak was perfect. Short rib melt in your mouth. The mash potatoes were also seasoned right. I didn’t like too vinegary Brussel sprouts, need to toss them with a little bit more honey to balance the flavor. Overall, it was a pleasant meal and a great birthday celebration.

My partner and I have eaten here about half a dozen times and every time we’ve been happy. A couple times the short rib was a little tough, or a special appetizer of the day was a little underwhelming, but overall with service and ambience and overall food quality, it’s a great special date night spot. I was inclined to write this review because we were just going to make another reservation for this weekend, and the last time we came was right before Christmas. I will say, the food quality the weekend before Christmas was top notch and the best we’ve ever eaten there. The short rib was the softest I’d ever had it, not as fatty as normal, the side of brussel sprouts was AMAZING and my fiancés steak was perfect. The special soup was not great and much spicier than we were led to believe, but the main meals knocked that out. We don’t drink so we stuck with water, but for two mains, an appetizer and a side plus tip we spent around $170. We enjoy eating here earlier because even during the week it gets busy after 5:30.

At $100 per person I expected a tasty filet mignon when we visited this restaurant as a party of three (on the evening of February 3rd, 2026). It was the chewiest medium rare filet I’ve ever had. The Brussels sprouts were swimming in oil and my cocktail was weak. Service was slow and inaccurate (wrong potato dish). I didn’t complain since the place was very busy and the staff seemed overwhelmed already. In short: I will never go here again. The salmon my partner ordered was dry and disappointing too. Nothing was impressive about our experience.

Nice and upscale, just seems like a tight fit. Hard to walk to the bathroom or sit and eat without somebody walking past bumping you. Went for a milestone birthday and had a great time, just would have preferred some more personal space while dining.

Everything was so great at this restaurant. Outstanding service from filling my water glass to serving my food. The atmosphere was great and my food was excellent. That’s what going out for dinner should be like.
