Such a lovely café! The owners are incredibly warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere feels bright, clean, and full of Mediterranean charm light wood tables, soft blue walls, and big windows with beautiful sunlight.
Tried their Turkish coffee for the first time and absolutely loved the rich, spiced flavor. The Turkish yogurt poached eggs with bread were delicious!perfect balance of tangy, creamy, and savor. And the sweetest surprise: the owner gifted me a small piece of pistachio baklava at the end. So thoughtful!
Only a few minutes from Main Street and such a perfect spot after yoga or a weekend stroll.
Highly recommend for anyone in the Long Island / Port Washington area!

Finally made it to Fora Cafe in Port Washington and what a gem!!
This Turkish family also owns the Chicken Kabob restaurant in Roslyn too!
Fora is a beautiful cafe that serves both classic American breakfast/brunch fare alongside some delicious Mediterranean and Turkish favorites like Çilbir and Shakshuka! Turkish tea and coffee are strong and delicious and instantly brings you back to Instanbul. Pastries served are both American and Mediterranean and all looked mouthwatering.
The husband and wife owners and their staff are so friendly and welcoming. It’s a definitely worthy the trip to Port Wash!

My husband and I absolutely loved this cafe and all of their staff! The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and beautifully decorated — the kind of place that makes you want to stay a little longer. The staff are incredibly friendly, talented and kind. The coffee is delicious, and everything is made with care. It’s the perfect spot to relax, catch up with friends, or just enjoy a peaceful moment. This place and the art in the coffee makes this place an instagrammable place. Highly recommend this beautiful and friendly café! ☕

This place is such a gem! The huge floor-to-ceiling windows let in so much light, and with the blue décor and wooden chairs, the whole space feels calm, fresh, and welcoming. Besides the latte, I tried another coffee (sorry I forgot the name!) but it was honestly amazing. The food was fresh, clean, and really tasty. The owner is so kind—her warm smile and the way she shared her story about opening the café made the experience even more special. A perfect spot for brunch and a lovely time overall. Highly recommend!

Fora Cafe is hands down one of my favorite cafes on Long Island. Not only is the food delicious (I got the shakshuka and beef sliders) my pistachio latte was magnificent as well. As a barista myself, I can tell the quality of their coffee here is just amazing. I was pleasantly impressed with the service and plan on returning more often! Wish it was closer to me, but so worth the drive!

Very comforting food with perfectly balanced portions—you can really taste the quality in every bite. I came here with a friend and we tried the shakshuka and the beef sliders, both absolutely delicious! We also ordered a matcha latte and a pistachio latte, and not only did they taste amazing, but the latte art was beautiful. The presentation of everything was spectacular, making the whole experience feel extra special. To top it off, the owner even brought over baklava—and WOW. Do yourself a favor and order that first!

I couldn’t be more excited about this addition to our neighborhood. The owners and staff are so incredibly kind and wonderful. The cafe itself is beautiful with great light and a welcoming atmosphere. The food is consistently delicious- we love that they go the extra mile in terms of offering organic ingredients, no seed oils, etc. it’s super family friendly (my kids love the pancakes, egg sandwich, and smoothies!). I’m easily at Fora 2-3x a week and never feel guilty about how often I eat here. Also worth nothing that the coffee is wonderful – I’ve been currently hooked on the Turkish latte. We love Fora!
