The second sandwich fell apart easily and had the same burnt, dry pieces throughout, which made it difficult to enjoy. The presentation looked good at first, but the actual taste was unfortunately not what I expected.
The hot dog, however, was much better and honestly the highlight of the order. It was flavorful, well prepared, and didn’t suffer from the burnt issue the sandwiches had. The fries were also good and cooked well.
Because the hot dog and fries were solid, I’m giving two stars instead of one. But overall, the sandwiches were not to my taste, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who prefers a sandwich that isn’t burnt or overwhelmingly coated in scorched breading.
The lady who brought our food out dropped it off, and we asked about napkins, ketchup, mustard, we were directed to go up and get it ourselves…and we did. Then, when we were done, we saw the signs that said “please bus your table”.
So, we tip on them taking our order and dropping it off? EVERYTHING ELSE is go do it yourself??
The burger and tots were excellent, but next time the tip will be left on the table based on the service…not up front with a guy who seemed to care less if we ordered or not.
Ove an hour to try them out. Last time I’m going. My wife agréés.
This is just my experience. I hope yours is better, but don’t say I didn’t warn you.
The indoor seating is a bit more sparse but still provided. Located next to several other food locations and provides a convenient walking path to nearby local shops. The food from the food truck was great, delicious and authentic American comfort foods you just can’t beat the taste of.
Wanted some local food so I ordered a Carolina Burger with fries and a Mimosa.
The Mimosa was ready immediately as if it were pre-made. However the Burger was not out after around 30 minutes and I finally asked the staff to see if they might have missed my order.
The staff was courteous, he checked and responded that it’s under the process. I waited another 10 minutes and finally received the Burger.
The Mimosa was kinda watered-down, barely much flavor. I liked the combination of chili and coleslaw with smash burger but the bun is too simple as it’s probably just the grocery store bought bulk buns.
I had high expectations for this place, but the experience was just okay overall.
The decorations and atmosphere were pretty cool though, which I gave 4 stars.
