My family loves to go here – their dim sum is great, especially their soup dumplings. They can be a bit overwhelming with offering food, but they were very accommodating and checked on us constantly.
The space can feel a bit small, especially when it gets busy and the characters that loitering right outside of the restaurant can feel a little unsafe if you have small children with you, but simply walk by with caution and disinterest and everything will be fine.

The best place for dimsum in Oahu in my personal opinion. Wait was long, but the food came out quick (once you got a table) and the variety was good. And the key here is that they have vegetables! Soup dumplings were delicious. I love that they have all the regular dishes. I rate their egg tarts to be excellent as well. Well worth the wait. Parking is also easy once you get into the local garages.

Knocked down 1 star because the seats and linen were so dirty. The service was excellent. The food was great and tasted right. However, I wish the portions were a bit larger. I guess it’s a Hawaiin thing that they come in 3s. The chicken feet came with only 4pc. When I asked for a takeout box, the staff packed it for me and tied it up in a plastic bag. The first wasn’t right in the middle so she untied to to tie it again so that it doesn’t tip. Wonderful service with every staff we encounter. They speak English, Cantonese, and mandarin. Pay at the front counter (not at your seat).

My husband i were craving dimsum and wanted to try this place. And we were soooo happy we did. The food was incredible. One of the best dim sums we have ever had. I highly recommend trying the place. The food was amazing and service was really great too. It was a little hard to find. It is in the chinese cultural plaza, on the outside near the water. When we were there, there were a lot of older asian grandpas who were playing cards. Look for them and you’ll find the enterance! 🙂 there’s also not a lot of street parking, but their is a parking garage. The food was fairly inexpensive. In Denver we would typically pay about $100 for 2 of us (we order a lot of food with leftovers), but here the bill came up to $80 and we still had leftovers.

We just ate at Fook Lam restaurant and had a really bad experience.
The lady who was pushing the food cart threw 6 dishes on our table from the cart before we sat down, and walked away. My husband and I were so shocked to see how pushy she was. She didn’t even ask us if we wanted a dish before she threw it on our table. There were 4 of them we didn’t even like. In the end, we ordered 2dished we wanted to eat and paid $120 for 2 people for an unpleasant meal. Normally we love Dim Sum but Fook Lam is NOT a version of Dim Sum I recommend

Some of the best Shanghai dumplings I have ever had. Everything was delicious. Fast service. As soon as we sat down, we already had food on the table.

We had a craving for dim sum and locals recommended this restaurant. The service was excellent. The dim sum was good. The chicken feet was in one of the best tasting sauces ever. Meaty feet with plenty of sauce. The beef balls, siu mai (pork hash), ha gow, and steamed peanut and chives dumpling were all done well. It was just my partner and I so we did not order too much. Definitely worth coming here if you have a dim sum craving. The tea was also hot and good.

My mom, dad and I have come to this place and that the dim sum there was wonderful and that there were many people there and the people there was pushing carts full of things like soup dumplings, chicken feet, and others. The three of us got soup dumplings, chicken feet, egg cart, beef tripe, and others and food was wonderful. The service was wonderful, and the atmosphere was that there were many people there eating, talking, and others.

Favorite Dim Sum on the island. Service is aggressive like any Dim Sum restaurant, but they get ish done and have a sense of humor…for the most part. $2 nearby parking and always be aware of your surroundings, especially in this area.

Came here for dim sum and was pleasantly surprise how good the food was. It was a group of 7 of us and we were well accommodated. We order a bunch of dim sum dishes that you would normally see at restaurant and the food was pretty good. I alway judge a dim sum restaurant by how they make the chicken feet is and at Fook Lam, it was pretty good. Although the food is good, it is a bit overpriced for me. Each dish was more than 4$ and the serving size was not the greatest. I hope the owner sees this review and make some changes if they want to grow.
