Reviews
What makes it stand out most is that every dish is cooked fresh right after you order. The food has that comforting homemade quality that’s hard to find.
We tried a great variety of dishes, and every one of them delivered. The crispy pata was perfectly crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside.
The pansit was well seasoned, while the longsilog tasted exactly like a classic home cooked Filipino breakfast. The pork barbecue was juicy and packed with flavor. To finish we had halo halo for dessert which was refreshing and the perfect sweet ending to the meal.
Beyond the food the hospitality at FoodTrip made the experience even better! The staff was incredibly sweet and welcoming. Overall FoodTrip isn’t just a place to eat it’s a place to enjoy fresh authentic Filipino food served with warmth and heart. Thank you so much Gem and Relly!
The man and woman running this shop
were also so very kind and willing to help!
Please go to this restaurant!
We loved this place.
First of all, the young waiter (owner’s son maybe?) was everywhere — running the floor nonstop with the best attitude. Super attentive, genuinely hardworking, and honestly impressive.
I ordered the crispy milkfish (the famous Filipino national fish), and my husband had the chicken skewers. The seasoning was slightly bold, but with rice it was perfectly balanced — exactly how it should be.
At the next table, a group ordered noodles and Crispy Pata.
Let me just say: that pork leg looked like something a medieval barbarian would proudly feast on. Huge. Legendary. Easily enough for four people.
This is not a “small portion” place.
This is a come hungry, leave very full kind of place — in the best way.
We were curious about the ube ice cream, and they kindly treated us to it. A lovely surprise and a sweet ending.
Bonus: Bible verses on the walls made the whole space feel warm and welcoming.
Great food, generous portions, kind people.
This feels like a place destined to succeed.
We’ll be back.
Service and prices were great (especially considering the serving sizes) and I can’t wait to try other menu items.
****IF YOU’RE ALLERGIC YOUVE BEEN MADE AWARE****
We found this new wonderful Filipino cuisine available in Santa Maria. Such an amazing little restaurant atmosphere.
I really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere (although the music could be turned down quite a bit, but very chill mellow music.) Everything was delicious and presented so nicely on the plates and by the waitress who honestly did an amazing job as waitress and hostess.
The wonderful thing that will make some people cringe and others like myself smile with glee is the little appetizer of garlic fried peanuts made in house, that they bring you as your food is being prepared amazing sliced and fried garlic in the peanuts tha make for the most amazing crunch treat.
Get some of the delicious pork bbq skewers that are great if you love grilled pork.
Tapsilog- is an adobo type stir fried beef with garlic fried rice and two eqqs
Longsilog- is a longanisa (sweet pork sausage) grilled and crispy deliciousness served with two eggs and garlic rice. ( We all know this was my favorite.)
Don’t forget to try the Ube and Mango ice cream. Some of my personal favorite, treats.
Head on down and give them a try they also do catering.

P.S. This is a great place to stop by pick up food and head to Waller park for a nice picnic.
