I’m not sure what kind of meat it is, but the quality seems very poor. It becomes extremely tough and difficult to eat even after pressure cooking. Because of this, I wasn’t able to prepare my meal as expected.
I hope the store improves the quality and checks the meat they sell. Customers rely on halal markets for good quality products, especially during fasting.
The main issue is the manager. He is consistently rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Instead of helping customers, he speaks in an aggressive tone and makes customers feel unwelcome. On one occasion, I arrived around 9 PM while the store was still open. Instead of politely explaining the closing time, he reacted rudely and told me to leave I tried to talk with him that I came from so far he didn’t listen to me even he was pissed off. This is not acceptable customer service.
Another time, I came with guests visiting me from Washington, D.C. I wanted to show them what I believed was a good halal food store in Boston. Unfortunately, the manager treated us very poorly and made us feel unwelcome, which was embarrassing in front of my guests.
After sharing my experience, my roommate and friends told me they had similar negative experiences with the same manager and advised me not to go there anymore. They recommended a Turkish store in Everett instead. We went there, and even though they were also close to closing, they welcomed us warmly, treated us with respect, and helped us without hesitation. The difference in customer service was clear huge difference . Because of that positive experience, we now shop there instead.
This store is losing customers because of poor management. Customer service is the foundation of any successful business, and unfortunately, this manager is damaging the store’s reputation. I respectfully suggest that the owner seriously review this situation and take appropriate action. Customers should feel respected and welcomed, not ignored or disrespected.
Because of these repeated negative experiences, I WILL NOT RETURN TO THIS STORE, and I cannot recommend it to others who value professional and respectful customer service.
I always find something new and wonderful to eat here. The prepared food is out of this world and reasonably priced. Always have somebody very pleasant with a big smile waiting on me!
And what a fantastic array of fresh produce and fresh meat. I love it here it’s one of my favorite local places to shop!
The very was very tasty, and delicious, I did dine in. I will bring my family to try it out recommend other Moslem sisters and brothers, here.
