Only food option at Parx before 12 noon. Was looking for something light and not too much meat. Decided on the beef barley soup. Came with some saltine crackers. $5.25 for a large cup of goodness. Very tasty and filling. Good enough to tide me over till lunch. I ordered it again the very day since I missed the breakfast cutoff time at Fox Chase.

I ordered a sweet sausage sandwich with sweet peppers and fried onions and instead they gave me sweet peppers and onions o. A roll with cheese . No sweet sausage was in that sandwich. But instead I received maybe 3 small pieces of pork. I complained to the women in the blue shirt. And she stated we stopped selling that weeks ago . Then why did they ask me what I wanted. It was not worth the 16.00 I paid for it. I was very disappointed in the quality of the sandwich

Kind of annoying that parx doesn’t have anything else open before noon (not even that many options after noon), but this is a standard food court (with standard food court service). Food is edible, but would be nice to have more food options in general. I feel like this is the only casino that I’ve been to that doesn’t have a buffet (valley forge doesn’t count, because that place is only an eighth of a casino).

As this place is a part of the casino the prices were a little higher than other places but I was pleasantly surprised by the food. I didn’t expect much but the food was good. The portions large and the taste was great. The baked goods were fresh and the hot food was made to order and even when busy your wait wasn’t that long. I’ve even stopped at the casino only to get something to eat on my way home from work. The personal are always nice and helpful. I’ve never had a bad experience or bad food. If you want nothing else but good food, this is a good stop. It’s located in the casino so don’t expect a quiet atmosphere.

Nice snack bar but the gentleman behind the counter seemed rude… you’d think someone dressed like a manager would have more customer service, even his “good luck” remark sounded sarcastic when he gave us our drinks. The pizza was different, not bad but also not good? It was great because I was starcing and needed a snack but the crust was like soft prezel dough that was cooked too long or something. Would eat again if I was hangry but was not something I’ll get if I can hold out a few hours. Decent prices and very fast, will try other menu items next time.
