I’ve been here several times and have loved it each time. I go for the Chicken & Eggplant sandwich with a side of potato salad. Very delicious! I also forget that they provide coffee too, so that’s always great. It get busy because it’s open for breakfast and lunch only, so expect a wait, but highly recommend this place for a Saturday or Sunday dining option during the day!

What a gem of a place. Great selection of salads, soups and sandwiches. I went with a cup of Tuscan bean soup and half a portobello sandwich for a little under $10. Even though they were pretty busy, I had my food in a few minutes. The cup of soup was a generous size and was excellent. The kale, grilled portobello sandwich was perfect, if a little difficult to eat due to its height, and came with some cucumbers and balsamic vinegar sides.

FoodHeads is a cool little spot with a cozy, homey vibe and nice seating. The place definitely has that local Austin charm. It’s on the pricier side, but overall we enjoyed our visit. That said, I walked away still feeling hungry and when you spend around $60 for two people, you kind of expect to leave full.

The sandwiches don’t come with chips, so you’re just getting the sandwich unless you order sides separately. I had the Pulled Pork Sandwich, and honestly, I wouldn’t recommend it it just didn’t hit the mark for me. My wife had the Apple Pork Tenderloin and Chicken Pozole Soup, and she absolutely loved both. Like she said, it’s not really a BBQ place, so I probably expected something it’s not meant to be.

One downside: they didn’t have ice for the drinks. When my wife asked, the staff said they’d get some, but it never came. It’s a small thing, but still disappointing. Also, make sure to grab extra napkins you only get one, and the food can get messy.

We stopped here because it looked nice on the reviews , got a chicken classic and a chicken with eggplant both were sandwiches and they were soooooo good and they have a nice outside seating area. The only disappointment was that it comes with a skimpy side cucumber salad and NO chips, you have to purchase them separately. For over $12.00 for a great sandwich you would think they give you a less then $1 chip bag.

I’ve been looking for a place just like this for quite some time! Cute casual cafe in an old house. Really tasty sandwiches. Fast service. Fairly priced. Went at 1pm on a Saturday and waited about 10 minutes but was able to snag a seat inside. Will definitely go back

Small group of us had lunch there. It was our first time dining in for my wife and I. We dined indoors and it was quiet enough to have a conversation. Décor and atmosphere was nice and the food was good. Generous sized sandwiches and my wife said her Tuscan bean soup was good and had an interesting flavor. Next time I will ask for onions to add to my cup of brisket chili.

My company uses FoodHeads all the time for our catering needs. They’ve been a great vendor for us over the years. Very prompt with their deliveries. We either do their box lunches if we have a smaller group or their deconstructed sandwich platters for larger groups. Their sandwiches are very yummy. My favorite being their chicken caesar sandwich. It’s so good. I still haven’t been to their actual location here in town but I need to give it a visit some time!

Long line for food at lunchtime but moves quick. They bring the sandwiches to your table. Sandwiches are really good and well worth a visit. Caesar salad is also excellent.

If someone rates this place any lower than 4 stars then you should dismiss their review, because this place is amazing and a true gem in Austin.

This place has THE BEST ingredients for any sandwich shop in town (e.g. brisket, full chicken breasts) and its prices are comparable to any other sandwich place (meaning it’s a fantastic deal for the quality).

It gets real busy at lunch so get there early and enjoy an amazing meal. It’s definitely worth it.
