I spent $19.00 for lunch this is the worst food I ever tasted. I wouldn’t feed this food to my dog. The greens were Horrible!!! the salmon look like it can from the dollar store and the mac & cheese is watery. On top of that I called to the store to inform them of the situation hoping that the they would at least apologize for wasting my time and money. The young lady response was we don’t do refunds. Wow I will never order from them again!!!!!

Staff was very cordial and offered complimentary samplings of food items for tasting that I haven’t had before. Everything I ordered was delicious. The tea drinks are also very good. It seems as though the restaurant is under new management / ownership and the changes are definitely a plus with added breakfast items as well. I definitely would recommend and will be returning.

This food has gone downhill. All good chefs/cooks taste their food. Especially when cooking in large quantity. I used to love the fried whiting used to be my favorite but it’s just average now. The mac n cheese had absolutely zero flavor/seasoning. And the greens beans were very plain as well. Our generation going down hill. Don’t nobody know how to make mac n cheese no more. Crazy!

I wanted to be fair about my comments, as I do not share bogus or unauthentic reviews. Today, I purchased an entree and a salad (w/protein) while at my hair salon. Thinking that the meal would have been fresh and of quality, I opted to purchase the fried whiting dinner with macaroni and cheese, and cabbage.
We also purchased the blackened chicken salad. So, the salad had less than 4oz of chicken on it with a container full of lettuce. I did not realize this until after the gentlemen had left the salon or I would’ve sent it back with them. The fried whiting was soft with no crunch, not crispy at all (soggy) and the sides had not flavor.
After spending $40, we didn’t eat any of the food beyond the initial tasting and ended up purchasing dinner from another establishment. To the team who sells food outside of the actual restaurant, please be mindful of the quality of food you’re soliciting. If it’s not up to your standard meals, DO NOT SELL IT just to take back a profit. You lose repeat business that way and I would’ve definitely visited the restaurant, if the food was quality and appetizing.

I used to love Food for Life more than 5 years ago. It was very clean, the staff was very nice and seemed to represented the natural food theme of the carry out in a positive way. The food was always good. I was there almost every week. Then suddenly, over time, the front staff changed to some uncaring, unpleasant, unprofessional, hostile acting workers. The cook staff seemed to change too. I noticed some things going on in back that made me question the food service preparation process. The quality of the food also began to decline. The places overall physical appearance start to decline. I really wish the current owner would bring this carry out back up to the high quality venue that was first started years ago.

Had a taste for mac n cheese and decided to give them a try. My first time eating from here. It will not be my last. Very good fish sandwich. Mac n cheese was different but I liked it. A big plus to see they had hibiscus tea. Definitely worth going to.
