I stopped by the old sunshine to see what was up. Sounds like the kitchen staff bought the restaurant from the owners of sunshine since no other buyers came forward. Is this accurate idk but that’s what I was told. I ordered orange chicken, and house lo mein no veggies. It was all good but felt like it was missing little flavor but isn’t far off from the original deal. They are very under staffed. The place was dead compared to when it was under the old ownership. There no more delivery through the restaurant you will have to use big delivery company like grub hub and or door dash etc. The owner and or two workers I dealt with where kind and polite. If given a chance with a open mind you might find something you like. It’s definitely not identical to sunshine but that’s why they are in works of changing there name and menu because they know there different. They need staff and chance to keep the doors open to expand like the old owners success.

This is hands down the BEST Chinese food in the area and I’ve been to a ton of them in Warwick, RI. This one is family owned and the owners are just so kind. Everything always is delivered hot and fresh. I’ve never gotten anything from here that tasted old or reheated like some other Chinese takeout places nearby.. highly recommend for quick delivery!!

The poke bowl was delicious but like, not sure what I almost broke my tooth on while trying to enjoy my beef and broccoli?? The rice wasn’t that great either but I would have been fine with that had there not been a hunk of rock?? In my food.

Absolutely phenomenal food. Tried my first proper Poke Bowl, and Spicy Tuna rolls, and their General Tso’s chicken with pork fried rice and crab rangoons.

Firstly, the staff was super friendly and while waiting for our food ordering takeout she gave us a honeydew coconut bubble tea to try and it was delicious!

The Poke Bowl was fresh, and tasted amazing. The spicy tuna was the same way, (and I thought I didn’t like sushi).

The General Tso’s chicken was tender and ACTUALLY SPICY! Something a lot of Asian restaurants miss out on is the spice and they definitely have it here! Pork fried rice was well cooked and the pork in it was flavorful. Crab rangoons were tasty too!

It has my highest recommendation, I shall be returning and will tell anyone I know that wants Asian food to give this restaurant a try! 5/5, 10/10, will order from again!

One of my favorite Chinese restaurants!! The dumplings are SO good, much bigger than anywhere around. The restaurant is run by a local family and they are super nice and I have never had a bad experience here. The Pad Thai is amazing and one of my favorites. The sushi/poki bowls are great and the bubble tea is good if you’re looking for something refreshing and sweet. Had the food multiple times and it is just as good every time I go. Everything is good.

This was the absolute best when it was sunshine express but the new owners and business food zoo was literally the worst food I’ve tasted in my life. Horrible. 55 dollars in the garbage. I don’t know if I have ever thrown food out like that. Normally if it’s not the best you can eat and chalk it up to not returning but this was literally inedible. Couldn’t even eat it. I had pad Thai, it had a very dark red sauce? And noodles were red tinted. Don’t know what it was but definitely wasn’t pad thai. Egg rolls were so overcooked and bad tasting I was afraid to get sick. Bought food for my granddaughter and didn’t even let her have one bite. Gave a bite to family member and they literally spit it in garbage. Do yourself a favor and don’t even waste your time or money. I literally feel like they ripped me off because I didn’t eat any of it. Don’t go. I certainly miss sunshine express that was the best.

Tried their food for the first time tonight and enjoyed it! I ordered for pick up and it was ready right on time, the woman at the counter/on the phone was very personable too. I ordered the sushi which smelled fresh and was filling. My boyfriend got the king point chicken combo which was pleasantly spicy and the veggies we’re cooked perfectly! I’m excited to try their other menu items soon!

First time there since Sunshine (also 4*) owned it, and I went in expecting to hate it. I was pleasantly surprised. The food is 100% made differently, but it’s the same menu. These differences are not better or worse than Sunshine, just different. If anything, the changes in style seem to be more like authentic Asian cuisine rather than Americanized “Chinese food”.

The lunch combo I got gave me enough confidence to try their sushi next time at least.

I’d give it a shot, but keep an open mind that it wont be exactly the same.

I’ve ordered Americanized fried Chinese food here no problem in the past. Tonight I ordered a couple sushi rolls and some fried dumplings and some soup. I ate about 4 pieces from my spicy tuna and sweet potato rolls then got sick. Just did not sit well with me. Couldn’t eat the rest. It was almost impressively bland too. I’ve had supermarket sushi that was Michelin star worthy in comparison. Dumplings were undercooked and smelled like way old fry oil- the dough was so chewy I had to spit it out. I hindsight maybe I just shouldn’t have tried to eat it. Soup was fine. $34 with a tip and it’s all in the trash. Kind of a shame. Sorry, just being real.

Tried it for the first time a couple of days ago. I was happy I did, I thought it was great, everything was tasty and cooked well. The vegetables weren’t overcooked like they usually are at Chinese restaurants. I liked the option of getting to pick either a spring roll or crab Rangoon as a side with the combination plate order. I got the spicy black pepper beef combination plate. Next time I go I’ll ask for them to make it a little spicier because I like very spicy foods. Oh and they are the only gig in town that has bubble tea!! (I got the taro)
