One of the best food trucks experiences we’ve had! We found this food truck park while we were waiting to pick someone up from the hospital and it was very delicious. We both ordered from Maui Shrimp, I got the Tempura shrimp tacos and my wife got the sweet chili mango shrimp over rice. We ordered a side of fried potatoes that were incredible. These were some of the best shrimp tacos I’ve ever eaten. We got two passion fruit canned orange drinks that were good also. If we’re ever back in Maui again we’ll be visiting this truck again. Highly recommend!!!

First time visiting Hawaii — and Maui — with family. Heard this was a must-go food spot, so we drove by and stopped at the Food Truck Park in Kahului, Maui, which is right next to the Costco.

Food was solid. We ordered from 3 different food trucks to get a sense of the variety:

* Dino’s Gourmet
* Geste Shrimp
* ‘Ono Teppanyaki & Seafood

I ordered at Dino’s which was purported to be the best burger hands-down on Maui (or Hawaii, can’t remember).

I had the Dino Maui Deluxe Big Blue Burger IIRC, which came with blue cheese, beef, and fries on the side.

Others in group had: Spicy Pineapple from Geste and Charbroiled or Blackened Ahi Bowl (though it was raw inside).

I sampled a bit from other plates, and really liked the Spicy Pineapple one. Mine was pretty good, a solid 3.5/5 I’d say. Tasty and fries weren’t bad.

All in all, recommend this food truck park next to Costco if visiting Maui, and hope to be back if I’m in the area again.

This Food Truck park is next to Costco. Wide variety of options; you can see in the attached pictures of all food trucks when I visited on 12/17/2025. Most of them have large screens for ordering and they send text messages about order status. Be ready to pay extra is you as for extra Togo boxes. Food is very good.

Very convenient before and after getting off the airplane, this grab-and-go spot next to Costco has a variety of food trucks. MEAT & MELT BBQ is one of the best, with highly recommended Philly cheesesteak and mushroom Swiss burger.

Food Truck Park (Kahului, by Costco) – Suns Out Buns Out

What a fun and tasty stop right outside the airport! This food truck park has several great options, and we tried Suns Out Buns Out. The bao buns (especially the Duck Duck Goat and the trio) were delicious, and the hurricane tots were amazing. Super convenient if you’re heading to or from the airport — grab some food before checking in to your condo or resort. Highly recommend as a first or last taste of Maui!

After a day of travel we were very hungry and stopped by the food truck park to get a bite to eat. Parking is extremely hard to find so you may need to park in the next door hotel’s parking lot just to get in. The first thing that stands out at this food truck are the prices. Everything feels way too expensive for what honestly looks like average food in their menu pictures. Ordering was not easy either as the POS system is not intuitive. After messing around with the tablet for 5 minutes we decided to just order at the truck itself. We ordered a cheeseburger and fish and chicken combo with a mango drink. The food took a long time to come out, we know they were busy but it took an inordinately long time to come out. When it did come out we were glad to get our food but they forgot we ordered a mango drink and when we reminded the lady at the truck she seemed very annoyed that we reminded her, not a great look.

The food itself was not good. You can tell they got all their stuff from the Costco nearby and just threw it in a fryer before serving it. The fried chicken was over crispy and had oil pockets under the breading, the fish wasn’t awful but it was definitely the Costco breaded fish fillets fried up. The cheeseburger was the best part of the meal and it was just alright. We would say to avoid this truck and just go to one of the many in the eating area.

Whether it’s before or after a flight—or just a quick stop after a Costco run—this is the perfect spot for a fast, flavorful lunch with tons of options. From super fresh seafood to vegan dishes, Thai cuisine to Sonoran-style plates, this place has something for everyone.

Each person can grab their favorite bite and then come together at the shared outdoor tables, dining alongside the wild chickens for a fun, casual island experience.

You know, this food truck stop is ok but it’s not as great as everyone is reviewing it. It’s got like 10 trucks to variety is good but a few were closed middle Saturday lunch time. We personally tried the Kaeo’s Grinds which was poke stuff. Big time high price for pokey nachos and taste average; small quantity. Same pricey for Meat and Melt truck but at least they had an insane variety of dishes ranging from burgers to fish n chips to Hawaiian plate. Burger patty for sure from Costco across the street.

They got covered tables and stations to wash hands. So that’s good. I think everyone here just have mellow vibe and give the good review because either they just arrive in Maui or are in that Hawaii mood, you know?

If you’re looking for delicious poke, go to Kaihau’s Poke Truck. They have the softest, melt in your mouth poke. I always stop by multiple times when I’m here on Maui for work. Definitely my favorite poke stop!
