Two males at the store. Asked if I wanted everything and according to the description provided I said yes. Got Gyro Nachos: Chips, Cheese, Meat, Sauce in a corner instead of all over, and sour cream. No tomatoes, onions, and not worth the price that is not $9.99 but 12.99. disappointed. Especially if I say I would like to try something new. A suggest of something else would have been better. There is also no burritos, as advised on this online portion of menu and pictures.

Once you come and eat here, you may become a regular and not want to eat phillys or gyros anywhere else! Some very well seasoned meats, fresh ingredients and breads used in every sandwich I’ve had for a year.

Very friendly. Large portions. Very clean interior. We ate in. Pleasant music in the store – we were the only diners at 7:30 on a Monday evening. A door dasher did a pick up while we were there. The soda machine had 6 options: Pepsi products. The burger was good. Next time I will try a Gyro!

This place is amazing! If the smell alone doesn’t get you through the doors, I don’t know what will!! Super friendly and bubbly staff greet you as you come to the counter. The decor is a neat road map design of local lower Michigan, plenty of seating, the soda fountain machine is easily accessible, great pricing on menu items and huge portion sizes! We stopped and grabbed lunch, take out style. Ordered the 3 piece chicken tender meal and the steak tacos!! The chicken tenders were so crispy, yet juicy on the inside and had a great flavor!! Fries golden brown, served with ranch and a hot roll!! The steak tacos came with well-seasoned steak bites, that were juicy accompanied by tomatoes, onions, green peprs and crisp lettuce!! Definitely are going to be back to sample another item!!

I give Food Street a AAA quadruple plus for not only exceptional service and quality fresh food. Let me tell you when I say the Gyro was to perfection the pita bread was like melted butter on the tongue. The meat was so seasoned it had the taste bugs doing a dance and song. The mushrooms was so juicy and plump, I can’t even explain it in words you’re just gonna have to come and try them. When I say Food Street is good, believe you me I would take another road trip from the Chi to Michigan for Food Street. Yes I would. The Proprietor, and the Chef are wonderful souls giving excellent service with a warm greetings and a smiles. Thanks Food Street.

If you’re looking for delicious fastfood at a reasonable price this is a great choice. I’ve had their Philly Steak, Double Cheeseburger, Italian Beef, and now the Gyro Burger, enjoyed every one of those. And they are always so friendly.

It’s been awhile since I’ve found a restaurant that truly satisfied my cravings. I stumbled upon this gem, as I was in search for something that reminded me of home. I wanted something greasy but good. So I chose the Jim shoe. the protein was chopped to perfection consisting of corned beef, roast beef & gyro. The addition of the mild pepper giardiniera peppers were . The customer service could have been better as they were not as friendly as I’d hope. The only other thing I’d suggest is providing napkins in the bag for carry out orders. 8.0/10
