Our desire to create amazing dishes to feed our family and community led us to a pop-up adventure in 2021. We learned so much that it gave us a taste for excellence and led us to realize we had the recipe to finally get to do what we love most. Now, our family is offering an incredible, uniquely classic breakfast experience. We invite you to start your day with us and thank you for allowing us to continue this amazing adventure. FOODSMITHS SUMMER 2025 UPDATE: We are now BUILDING A FOOD BUS! We’ll be back to making you amazing culinary creations as soon supernaturally possible! Really good food, made to order and served quickly from some great folks. Serving breakfast and lunch.
Awesome breakfast foods, fresh ingredients, and many in house made items like huge English muffins.
I had a great omelet, the best I’ve come across in a while, actually, and some delicious potatoes.
They make huge, tasty breakfast sandwiches too…

I had a breakfast burrito. Very good, very large. Easily feeds two people. I’ll be back for sure. I have only been there once, and it was pretty busy and took about 25 minutes to get my order. I am fine with that, but it might be a good idea to call your order in, if you’re in a hurry.

I have a few food allergies, and they worked with what I wasn’t able to eat! Their breakfast burrito is absolutely amazing!! I had to ask for it without eggs or dairy (they have vegan cheese!!) and it was the best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had!! Thank you Smith family

The food is all homemade and super tasty. The portions are massive. The staff is super friendly. 12/10 recommend this place for breakfast! We got the huevos rancheros and breakfast burrito and the chorizo was incredible.

Hands down, best food truck in Cottage Grove. The service is the best of anywhere I’ve ever been to be completely honest. So kind and the food is absolutely delicious! They have a bacon crusted French toast that I have never seen anywhere and is a MUST TRY. As well as the vegan biscuits and gravy with gluten free biscuits. Typically, I hate anything gluten free, but they do it right!!! If you have medical reasons you need to eat gluten free, please do yourself a favor and go here! 15/10.

By far some of the nicest people I have ever had the privilege of meeting. They truly care about food, and the well being of others. Their heart and soul goes into their service and food. Having allergies, we don’t always get to enjoy the benefits of stopping somewhere for breakfast, and they took time with us to review everything with us, never making us feel rushed or a burden. The food was amazing. And their love of their community is unmeasured. Definitely will return, often.

Yes, they’re open! Food Smiths is now located inside Dietz Deli, and is currently only serving Sunday brunch.
We had the biscuits ‘n’ gravy and latkes today; both were delicious, but the sausage gravy was to die for. You cannot beat the quality or price! Our entrées were less than $10 each, and we both had leftovers.
Highly recommend; can’t wait ’til next Sunday!

Some of the nicest people in Oregon. The food was so good we went twice in one day. The sever had top notch hospitality. The food tasted amazing, it was made with fresh and tasty ingredients. My only gripe is that if you go while it’s raining you will get wet. Food was excellent, service was amazing. Go check it out! Make them busy!
