This used to be my go to Chinese takeaway, as literally 2 min away, but slowly over the last 18 months things have started deteriorating. May seem like minor niggles to some, but combined, add up.
Cash only . Its inconvenient, and there is no cashpoint nearby.
Chips. Used to be those lovely fat ” takeaway chips” that everyone loves. Now changed to the cheapest, nastiest ” fries” which no one actually likes, especially with a CT. Saving pennies?
When placing my order at counter, I asked if my beef curry could be made with extra chilli. Was told that would be an extra 20p! This was a £30+ order!
Surroundings are tired, staff also seem tired. No pleasantries, no smiles, just cash orientated. Food, now found better, although further away.

Had a takeaway last night with friends. Not very good! Chicken satay skewers were dry, sauce was ok. Chicken omelette wasn’t very good and the Cantonese chicken wings were tasteless. On the positive side the duck pancakes were ok…

Sorry to say but the worst Chinese meal I have ever had. Had meal for 1 and 3 quarters of it was totally inedible dry and seemed like left overs re fried. Just awful

Absolutely awful experience food was bland and cold! Asked for chips which we did not receive and also every item that was in batter tasted like the oil had been old and was so awful! £40 in the bin will not be using again and will definitely telling people not to use the restaurant

Great service. Phoned ahead for collection. They msgd me to say the had no sweet ginger for my chicken dish, did I want fresh ginger in it. Huge portions,we ordered 2 mains, one rice and a portion of chips, you could easily get 2 servings from one main. Good value for your money

I’ve been using this takeaway for years and always find it’s the fail safe option – the dishes portion is amazing and the value for money and not to mention it’s freshness – yes, currently it’s cash only but I’m sure once the economy improves it shouldn’t be an issue any longer.
