I tried the chili chicken with rice at Food Junction in South Lake Union. The dish arrived hot and fresh.
The chicken had a light crisp outside and stayed tender inside. The chili sauce had a strong garlic and soy flavor with balanced heat. It coated the chicken well and soaked slightly into the rice. The rice was soft and fluffy which helped balance the spice. The portion size was solid and filling. This is a good option if you want a quick meal with bold flavor in the SLU area.

I tried the chicken burger at Food Junction and it had a different style from a typical burger. Instead of a fried fillet, it used chicken tikka mixed with spices. The chicken had a good flavor with a mild spicy taste. The bun was soft and held the filling well. The seasoning gave the burger a strong desi style flavor that stands out from regular fast food burgers. A good choice if you want something simple with a spicy chicken tikki taste

I usually don’t write a review after my first visit, but I’ve been to this restaurant a couple of times now and I truly enjoy it. They have a great variety of food to choose from.
Last time, we tried the chicken Manchurian with rice and the chili chicken with Hakka noodles. The flavors were amazing and full of taste.
My usual favorite from here is the Mysore masala dosa, it never disappoints!
The staff are also wonderful. They make you feel comfortable and welcomed, just like you are at home. Overall it’s always a really good experience. ❤️

We ordered paneer chili and Chole bhature and both are amazing here. Chole were properly cooked and bhature were perfectly soft and reminded me of one of the best indian og chole bhature combo. Only thing is space is cramped and they can do better in hygiene. Also they have indian grocery attached to restaurent that makes it convenient to shop and dine.

We ordered the chili chicken with Hakka noodles and the Mysore masala dosa and both tasted amazing..Specifically the dosa tasted so perfect, felt like I was having it back home!
My wife’s favorite was their mango shake. It was so refreshing and yummy.
The staff are also friendly..This might just become our new favorite go to place from now on.

We visited Food Junction on a Sunday afternoon and were surprised to find the place completely empty — which made sense after tasting the food. The quality has dropped significantly from when we last came here.
Previously, we had tried their Manchurian, bread pakoda and momos. Bread pakoda was actually pretty good (photo is from last time), Manchurian was decent , and momos were just OK (had pretty thick layer of dough). This time, however, the experience was far worse. The staff seemed quite disinterested and uninviting, which set the tone right from the start.
We ordered chole bhature — the chole was good, but the bhature were undercooked in spots and not fried evenly. We also ordered bread pakoda, it came completely drenched and soaked in oil. I understand it’s deep fried, but well deep fried food shouldn’t be drenched in oil. We returned it and switched to pani puri instead. Unfortunately, the pani puri water was bland and tasted off. Pani puri didn’t come with tamarind chutney and they were charging extra for it, which felt petty. We ended up leaving most of the plate uneaten.
Sadly, this visit made it clear why the place was empty. Definitely not the same quality as before, and I won’t be visiting this place again.

Loved the chole bhature, best in Seattle. The chai was good as well. Quantity and price is pretty good. They can easily increase the prices and people will still come to eat. The atmosphere was a bit dull inside and they could do with a bit of renovation. Overall, pretty good.

I’m shocked and deeply disappointed with my recent order of veg noodles Manchurian. While eating, I found a steel wire mixed in with the noodles. This is not just unacceptable—it’s dangerous and could have caused a serious injury if swallowed accidentally.
I expect basic food safety standards to be maintained, and this incident raises serious concerns about the kitchen hygiene and quality control at this establishment.
I hope the management takes this seriously and conducts a thorough check to ensure such a hazardous mistake doesn’t happen again. Customers deserve safe, clean food.

We’ve been meaning to try Food Junction for awhile and finally stopped by after positive reviews of the spot from friends. The first time we went, we tried the samosas and Manchurian chicken with noodles – both were delicious! The Manchurian chicken was especially flavorful, full of spice (pepper-y), and the perfect portion size for one person.
A couple days later (lol), we came back to try the chili chicken with fried rice and chili paneer with noodles. This is now our favorite! I found the rice to be a nice complement for the punchiness of the chili chicken. We’re excited to have unlocked a new favorite neighborhood food spot!

I wish i could give negative rating WORST FOOD EVER they have all the cockroaches running in restaurants and I also took Quick Look at kitchen there’s no cleaning and i can bet there are more cockroaches in kitchen running over all food. I couldn’t finish my food for sure going to report to county health department
