Great service and comfortable chairs. Good location and easy to get to.
Food was really good. Chicken was well seasoned and fried nicely. Tender inside and crispy outside. Reheated very nicely when leftovers were eaten.
Breakfast sandwich is an insane meal for its value. If you don’t eat it there at least get one to go because they are an entire meal and so good.
The chicken and waffles were good however the waffles were a bit mushy and didn’t hold their shape or have a crispy outside. Flavor was on point and would try again tho.

We heard about this restaurant from a family member and decided to stop in and try them. I was apprehensive because we arrived within 30 minutes of closing, but I was pleasantly surprised. The customer service was impeccable & the food was fresh and delicious. I especially enjoyed the fried okra, salmon & whiting. I can’t wait to visit again to try the breakfast!

Very courteous and friendly environment. The young lady was out on the floor interacting with customers; I really liked that. The owner came over to ask if everything was OK. The Hot n honey wings were excellent. Freshly fried & tossed, very meaty & flavorful. The fries were long & thick & had seasoned salt on them!! Just enough salt. Excellent experience! I highly recommend this food joint for chicken wing lovers & soul food lovers

Visited here for the first time today and absolutely loved it. We enjoyed an amazing meal with great friends. Destiny was very accommodating to the needs of our party and took excellent care of us. I had the Brooklyn Lunch Box with a perfectly prepared and plated burger that I spent a few moments admiring the sheer beauty and splendor of the bacon burger in front of me before savoring every bite. If you haven’t eaten here yet, you definitely need to check them out. Its a family owned local business that takes obvious pride in everything they do.

Thought I would’ve gave it a second try, went in to order after looking at the online menu, ordered then she told me for the “new lots hot chicken sandwich” fries and a drink would be 16, mind you i tried calling ahead and that was a fail, and was actually placing my order 5 mins before 3 o clock. All she could do is tell me “I’ll let them know”, so I just left and want be back, first bad experience here, another at the Monroe location, fix it!!

Clean, open, friendly atmosphere! Touch screen ordering, and they gladly/kindly help you, if you have any questions on the screen. Great menu, pictures of their actual food. I ordered Candied Yam and Honey Butter Orange Pepper Wings. My buddy had the buffalo and lemon pepper wings. They were juicy, tender, and very flavorful (I recommend the candied yams 13/10, Lemon pepper were the perfect tartness and consistent). I will be back, you can bet on that, it is well worth the stop!

Snow day review! I’m from New Orleans so I’m a harsh critic on food. This shrimp platter was THE best I’ve had in the entirety of the Carolinas. Large, beautiful butterflied shrimp with that perfect airy crunch. I got the Mac n cheese & the candied yams as sides. I’m blown away. The Mac n cheese is so obviously homemade. It’s thick and creamy with so much flavor. The candied yams taste like grandma’s Thanksgiving sweet potato pie on happy crack. I can’t recommend this place enough, they have a for-life customer.

We wanted to try something new and different in Waxhaw and decided to try out this place for the first time on Friday night, a day after New Years. Ordered pickup and got there a little bit early. Inside wasn’t too impressive yet, and I hope they bring in more atmospheric decor, but while waiting I noticed the place was pretty busy particularly for pickup and staff was kind. We ordered the Large Dinner Meal with Fried Catfish, Smothered Fried Chicken, Plaintains, and Okra, extra sides of Cajun Fries, and collard greens along with a Jerk Chicken Burrito. We didn’t know how much food it all would be for two adults and a toddler but the large dinner meal with maybe an extra side of Fries is more than enough for dinner. The burrito we saved for lunch the next day. ALL OF THE FOOD WAS PERFECT! It tasted amazing, the seasonings were right on point for everything, the jerk sauce in the burrito was spicy enough to enjoy but not overpower. The flavor was simply wonderful. I’ve been hoping for something new and different to come to Waxhaw for a while now, and this is definitely what I’ve been waiting for. It’s in my top 3 for the Waxhaw area now for sure.

Our Service was very welcoming and The “Owner” was very down to earth… The food? Let’s start off with you can smell the seasonings through the “Take Out” bag.. I ordered the 2 protein option with Bourbon Chicken and Jerk Chicken, Everything was delightful! The Jerk is Spicy ️ but good.
