Best cheesesteak I’ve had in town! The Fairbanks chicken sandwich was amazing. Love the house made raspberry habanero sauce on it. Great spot for comfort food and classic favs.

Had dinner at the Food Factory and it was a fantastic experience! The staff was friendly, the service was quick, and the food was top-notch. I ordered the Cheeseasaurus Burger and it was absolutely delicious—juicy, cheesy, and packed with flavor. One of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a great meal and a laid-back atmosphere!

To start off the night we were seated and waited 10-15 minutes for drinks so when we ordered our drinks we’d also like to order our food but apparently the drink waitress is incapable of taking food orders and when we asked she did not respond but our actually waitress snapped at us while walking by said she’d be with us in a minute and to wait. As we waited we heard from the table across that she charged them for an extra drink and gave them 10% off. We then waited for our waitress to return to order while she judged me for wanting things taken off like menu (I’m Muslim) and not wanting to order 31$ fish and chips when I wouldn’t eat it all. The food arrived after 40+ minutes (the table next to us ordered 20 minutes after us yet their food came out 2 minutes after ours piping hot) Very greasy chips for my “nachos” that they wanted me to pay 15$ for and I refused because half the items were going to be taken off, the popcorn shrimp was completely cold and edible I ate the pickle so I paid 23.60 to eat nothing and it be completely gross and inedible. I got boardline harassed by the staff and once I went to the bathroom to call my friend to complain since I’m not from Fairbanks and from San Diego and spent money on this trip another waitress heard then went to gossip with our drink waitress and point and snicker and talk the whole time till we left not improving the service at all and to top all of that off, it was my first day there and I didn’t expect people to be blandly racist and arrogant for no reason. As traveling around Fairbanks and going to multiple restaurants this is common for natives or just locals to be blankly racist and rude for no reason. our server SUSAN N was no exception and treated us horrible and got the change (only coins) she brought back after I paid 100$ in cash and left all the food on the table, this place is not worth it, pikes landing is less attentive but not blandly racist take your business there instead!

Haven’t tried Food Factory since last year. Decided to give it another try today with my kids and parents. Off the bat, our waitress who was an older lady, seemed not so welcoming. When she was taking our orders, we’re each saying our orders and I’m helping my son by asking him what type of fries he’d like and the waitress proceeds to say with a straight look on her face, “I’m the waitress, I’ll ask him. That’s my job.” No laughing, smiling or anything, she just continues to take the rest of the orders with an annoyed attitude. We waited for a long time for our food and we noticed from the kitchen there was only one cook so we assumed that’s why our food was taking awhile. At the end of our meal, I pay with card with their portable machine thing and I leave her a cash tip in the black folder that the receipt was in. She comes back to the table and grabs the machine thing with an attitude and walks away. No, “Thank you for stopping by” or “Have a nice day.” She comes back and starts to pass by my table and I hand her the black folder with the cash tip. I see her go to her waitress table area and open the folder and proceeds to say something to the cook. I don’t know if she was having a bad day or what, but it made my experience at Food Factory unpleasant. I won’t be back for a long time, probably never go back. As for the attitude grabbing the payment machine thing, I think she thought I didn’t tip her. Even though from the start I didn’t like how she spoke to me when I was helping my son order and just the overall interaction we had with her, I still left her a tip at the end of the day. The food was a 5 out of 10. Small portions of $13 cheese curds and $12 fried onions. Their chicken sandwich was crispy but dry. I forgot how pricey it is eating at Food Factory. I prefer Brewsters for their food and the customer service of their waiters and waitresses are WAY BETTER at Brewsters!

I dont eat iut often, maybe 1-2 every other month. This was my first time eating here and hopefully this was an off day for the cooks. I ordered cheese curds as an appetizer, and a cheesesteak with fries as my meal. Both the cheese curds and fries were extremely greasy, and had no seasoning at all. They were both hot and fresh, I just think they tried to stretch the life of their oil. Both the sandwich and the service was great. I’ll try it again sometime in the future.

Great place to grab a bite if you’re ever in Fairbanks, AK. Located close by Costco and other shopping. Food and customer service is great, very friendly staff, Amy was my server and treated us like family. This place has a menu for kids also, lots to choose from. Highly recommended!

The dining experience here is pretty consistent. On occasion the food is a miss but 90% of the time it is worth the money. The staff is usually friendly and pleasant. I do not recall ever having a bad serving experience, though at times service has been slow due to volume.
In my opinion, Food Factory is a solid option to dine-in for a relaxed meal. It is almost sports bar-ish with the large TVs, but no bar. It has that relaxed vibe.

Today I was trying to get a couple things for takeout … googled the restaurant and found it was supposed to be open until 5 pm. I was there about 4:45 pm and when I walked in the girl at the register told me that they always closed at 4 pm. It was disappointing to say the least. Someone needs to update the website information.
Went back today and had dinner. Ordered the chef salad. It was a large plate of salad, enough for two. Also ordered the fish and chips … fish was really good, chips not so much.
I’m glad I went back.

First time eating at Food Factory and we loved it! Huge portions, everything tasted great and our waitress, Brittany, was awesome! We tried the fried ice cream and it was so so good!
My only suggestion is their bbq beans are served cold and well, that’s just a sin to a Southern girl!! You gotta serve ‘em hot!!
We will be back!
