Popped into Food + Beer late last night and Ryan took excellent care of us. He was quick to get us menus and drinks. Super laid back and polite guy. We ordered the Smash Burger with sweet potato tots and the Kona Bleu with fries. The food came out quickly and hit the spot. I’m never disappointed anytime I order from their menu. They have all types of specials including a seasonal menu, weekly specials and brunch.

I went there with my friend, and the food was great. The drinks were happy hour which we loved. I ordered a margarita and my friend had two old-fashioned’s. We shared a large platter and the queso and chips. The shrimp are so big and juicy, and the nuggets were freshly cut and fried. I enjoyed the sauce on the nuggets. It seems like a butter base with some spice. The football games were on and we enjoyed ourselves.

The food was alright. We had the fried pickles, the Loaded Beer Can Chicken Chowder, the Big Schnitz, and the Okeechobee Smash burger. I do NOT recommend the Loaded Beer Can Chicken Chowder at all. It had absolutely no flavor and the potatoes weren’t even cooked. Everything else was good.

I had an incredible experience thanks to one of the best bartenders I’ve ever met by the name of AMANDA! From the moment I sat down, Amanda was friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. She took the time to ask what flavors I liked and then crafted a drink that was absolutely perfect—balanced, creative, and beautifully presented.
Not only were her drinks outstanding, but her professionalism and positive energy made the entire atmosphere more enjoyable. She handled a busy bar with ease, never making anyone feel rushed while still keeping service quick and efficient. It’s clear Amanda has a strong knowledge of mixology and excellent customer service skills.
If you’re looking for great drinks and an even better experience, Amanda truly goes above and beyond. I’ll definitely be coming back!

This place has been a great find. The atmosphere is excellent. It’s not too loud, not too bring, and the staff are friendly. They’re always willing to help with any questions. The food is consistently tasty and keeps us coming back to eat here. The taco Tuesdays are fun and they’re a great deal for the price. The Cuban Egg Rolls are amaaaazzzing! It’s great to visit a restaurant and be remembered as well as being able to recognize the staff.

I just recently moved back to this town from Ohio. I came into Food and Beer one night just to have a few drinks and get home. The sweetest and the VERY talented bartender was so caring for my well being and so well versed in her craft
. Ciera is the superstar’s name. She recommended some amazing food like the you jel burger and the poke tuna bowl. Watching this lady work in her element was honestly a captivating must-see. From really cool bar tricks, insane speed, menu accuracy, and a biggest sweetest smile, you can’t get better than that.
She says her name is Ciera, but I’m convinced it is really “Best Bartender in Bradenton”.

Was so happy they still serving food at 11pm!
Liz our Bartender/ waitstaff was AMAZING! ☆GIRLFRIEND NEEDS A RAISE! ☆
She recommended things, explained stuff, promoted special events! Very sweet and attentive– which i love when going out since I’m a Bartender its nice to have someone take care of me! Food was prompt— hot and very good!
We had margaritas( 1 reg & 1 with vodka)
We had 2 smash burgers! “Now that’s a tasty burger!” ( imagine Sam E jackson in pulp fiction saying that)
I highly recommend this place! Wish I lived closer!!! Definitely worth the trip from AMI! Thank you again Liz for being the ” hostess with the mostess”.

I came to Food + Beer a few night ago for a girls night, and had a wonderful experience. I ordered the elotes which were so delicious, the bar area and bathrooms were very clean, and the bartender Zelena was extremely friendly and helpful. She recommended my some kind of strawberry cocktail and it was delicious! I’d definitely come back again.

We drove from out of state for Thanksgiving and on Black Friday shopping wanted an out of the way, good food and beer place. Rachel was our server and spot on, never missed a beat. The manager, Davina stopped at our Table to ask about our visit and make some suggestion s from the menu. She was very friendly and takes her job seriously. We had the large pretzel, gator bites, Buffalo cauliflower and then a Chicken Ceasar wrap. The gator bites are not the pure white meat bites you get in the south, and we thought the 18$ price was alot. The flavor was good. One thing We thought a little strange was when you order a burger…that is what you get. You must order fries as extra unless ordering from the lunch menu. Over all…we would stop by again. Local people are lucky to have nice little spot to stop and enjoy a sports game on one of the TV”s while drinking a refreshing drink or

If you go you will have great food, great service, great atmosphere and the Manager Davina, who really cares that you are having all of the above! I live near this restaurant and ignored the sign on the highway for over a year because it reads Food + Beer. I thought it was a convenience store. I finally learned it’s a sports bar and restaurant so I stopped in to eat and watch the basketball tournament. First of all, they have LOTS of TVs tuned to the games. Our server Madison was always there when we needed her. I ordered the cheese burger and it was very good, but small. They let you double the patty for $4 so you should do that if you’re hungry. My wife ordered the Malibu chicken wrap and she was very satisfied. We shared an order of fries which were superb. I was still hungry so I tried their wings which were delicious. All around a good vibe and great service. I’ll definitely be back. Too bad they couldn’t come up with an actual name for the restaurant so I could have discovered it sooner.
