Asian restaurant for authentic eats including ramen, teriyaki, dumplings & tempura.

This restaurant is standing alone in the middle of office buildings. There’s no other restaurants nearby and pretty small. Just 10-15 tables. I ordered the hot & sour ramen soup and spicy seafood one I can’t remember the name! But it was super flavorful!. Also got some appetizers of mixed tempura. The noodles are delicious here! We ordered another noodle on the side. I’d recommend coming to try they had a big menu! It’s unique and can’t really find these elsewhere. It’s also filling! Keep in mind, you will have to wait for a bit. Parking is also limited. I gotta come back to try the other noodles! Just got only one picture cuz when they served it I can’t wait and I realized when all the noodles are gone!
Highly recommended

I had a great meal at Foo Foo Tei! The food was delicious overall, but the standout for me was definitely the broiled squid — it was cooked perfectly, tender with a nice char and full of flavor. I’d definitely come back just for that. Friendly service and a cozy atmosphere made the experience even better.

It is a wonderful establishment to enjoy genuine Japanese ramen and a diverse selection of accompanying dishes. My companions and I have frequented this restaurant for many years and have consistently been delighted with our experiences. Furthermore, the staff members are exceptionally friendly and accommodating.

They have all kinds of authentic Japanese style ramen. Also a Menudo variation if your curious, tastes good by the way. Several appetizers like Coconut Srimp. And lots of Japanese dishes. I had the Omarice with Pork Cutlet on this visit. Although I usually have the Ramen. One of my favorites.

Extremely disappointed. We found a sticker label inside the salad — yes, an actual price tag. When we told the staff, there was no real apology or concern, just a quick offer to bring another salad like it was nothing. No manager came by, and they only took 3 dollars off the bill. This is a serious food safety issue, and the way it was handled was unacceptable. Definitely not coming back.

I’ve been coming here for over a decade. That’s says a lot. The restaurants has that homemade feeling to it. Foo Foo Tei offers variety of dishes, but they are famous for their ramen. I love the number 17 Ramen and I would order that every time. Their portion portion is gigantic (despite being decently priced), so if you are ordering Ramen be careful not to order too many appetizers unless you are a big eater. Their portion portion restaurant can get real busy, so you should arrive a little before opening time to avoid the wait.

Found a price tag in our salad. Staff just took it away with no apology or real explanation. They casually offered to replace the salad, but didn’t seem to take it seriously. In the end, they only deducted $3 from the bill. We still paid and even tipped — but honestly, we shouldn’t have. Extremely disappointed with how Foo Foo Tei handled this. Terrible service and food safety standards. Won’t be back.

Update 6/11/23: Arrived around 545 (they open at 530) and had about an hour wait to be seated since we missed the first dinner rotation. Overall the noodles are still as good as expected and the side dishes are the show stoppers. They’re priced pretty close to an actual bowl of noodles, so take care in ordering a lot of them, they’re pretty good.
They now inform you on how to split the bill if going in as a party (tell them as you’re ordering).
All in all, would come again in the future to try their many different foods they offer.

Food was pretty good but the when we wanted to split the check, we didn’t mean split the overall bill in half, but split by item.

Great Japanese Ramen place, even price keep increase current inflation! But recipes never deduct inside the noodle soup base what it suppose to be…dine in is better choice than to go because the flavor might change and noodle loose it’s texture for to go order. But make sure you arrive before 1pm for they cutting time for order to go and dine in, Total cost for 4 persons $66 plus $12 (18%) tips but worthy for try Japanese food fans if you don’t want to travel far location to Orange County or Anaheim.
