Fresh, delicious, and perfect for the beach. Steamed lobster bun was soft and tasty, the pulled pork bowl with brown rice and the sesame chicken with brown rice were both SO flavorful! The spicy cucumber could have been spicier, but was perfectly cooling and fresh on a warm beach day. Thai iced tea was also a win. Great food, different from all the other eateries in this area, and absolutely recommend.

Fantastic Cape May restaurant. My wife and I tried the pork belly buns, shrimp buns and a chicken bowl. All were delicious! Each bun order comes with 3 sliders and the bowl was huge! Great food, I was very impressed!

(This review was edited): WOW! That’s all I can say. This is the second time we have come here. The biggest complaint isn’t about the restaurant, it’s about the parking. It feels like it is impossible to find parking, which was literally the only downside to this place. Anyways, for the food. We got pulled pork rice bowl, chicken rice bowl, lobster rice bowl (no picture ), shrimp rice bowl (no picture ), another pork rice bowl, and two bao buns (I forget which ones). Each and everything we got was nothing less than great. Not only that, but the service was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant, as it is definitely underrated!

Small facility with plenty of seats for a family, right on the beach. Tasty food and high prices. Outdoor seats are available. Lemonade is unique and tasty. Friendly prompt service. Very clean inside and out. No seagull attacks.

The food was amazing. My taste buds were thanking me for hours! I tasted the sesame-chili chicken slider, ginger-scallion lobster slider, sweet and sour duck slider, pineapple-chili aioli shrimp slider, and finally the soy-braised short ribs slider. Each slider has such a delicious, unique taste. My favorite was the sweet and sour duck. It tasted like candy, it had a nostalgic taste to it. The coconut rice pudding with mango and the 5-spice donuts were the best desserts I’ve had in a while. Their customer service was excellent. I can’t wait to come back!

The restaurant was really nice !! I got a pulled pork bowl with white rice , and it was so so so good. I also got lychee soda and coconut rice pudding with mango and they were good , but definitely an acquired taste LMAOO. I was with some people there and they also said everything was really good. It was all clean and it was so nice in there, I usually get super overwhelmed im restaurants but it was really calm and pleasant.

I’m usually a picky eater but I DEVOURED my food, open more locations!! (photo is tofu from my sister, not pulled pork)

The sesame chicken and black bean salmon bowls were fresh and well made! Great rice. Felt very healthy. The banana spring rolls were great but they only gave two of them for $9. I’d recommend eating here!

Fantastic fresh, tasty, healthy, asian street food steps from the beach in Cape May. A great change from traditional heavy beach food usually found on the boardwalk. So good! A great value. You will love it. The short ribs are amazing.

Food here tastes so bad. We ordered a shirmp rice bowl, an order of the sweet & sour duck buns and a side of the papaya salad but could not finish them especially the buns.

Foo Bao is a welcome addition to the Cape May! We were in need of good, authentic Asian cuisine. The owners, Lou and Amy, do a fabulous job in serving quality Asian Street food – amazing light and fluffy buns filled with your choice of duck, lobster, pulled pork and other choices of deliciousness! The rice bowls were amazing as well. They’re still working out the kinks in service since Foo Bao is a new restaurant. It’s a must try especially if you’re looking for quality and authentic Asian cuisine served by Chef Lou and steps away from the beach!
