We visited Fong’s Chinese Restaurant in November with my children when we were in Chicago for my son’s bootcamp graduation. It turned out to be such a warm and pleasant experience.
The service was very good, and the staff was genuinely friendly. We were pleasantly overwhelmed by the big servings—the food was delicious, fresh, and definitely worth the price. The attendant was especially kind; he even offered a small toy to my grandson to help cheer him up when he started crying. They also gifted us a 2026 calendar as a keepsake, which was such a thoughtful touch.
The place was clean, comfortable, and family-friendly, and we truly enjoyed both the food and the environment. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

We happened to be touring the area because of a local convention. As we were leaving the convention a woman was handing out menus for this little restaurant. We decided to get away from the busy downtown area and try it out. And oh my gosh this place was absolutely amazing. You can tell that everything is just made from scratch right there. Excellent service and food. I’m so glad that they were advertising at the convention. We really enjoyed eating here.

I absolutely love their Chef Special Noodles! I get the chicken and ask for them spicy. It’s the perfect blend of noodles, veggies, and chicken. They put the perfect amount of onion as some places def put too much onion. The chicken is primarily white meat and flat which I love. I just feel like it’s so flavorful that way. I highly recommend this dish. Actually, I playfully challenge someone to find better noodles and if you do, please let me know where so I can go and check that place out too!

Excellent take-home / delivery storefront Chinese restaurant. We are not in their delivery area but drive to pick it up the food – it is that good. Our favorites include the vegetable soup and Beef Tenderloin Fried Rice (so yummy ). Crispy Garlic Chicken and Walnut Shrimp are other standouts. They have 4 -5 tables if you want to dine in, but it is really not set up for that. We often call ahead, and our order is waiting for us.

By far the worst Chinese restaurant I’ve ever been to. The ambience of the location is very eye pleasing. Reminded me of some sort of theme park very decorative! But the customer service is horrible. The young man at counter who looks as if he going bald was very pushy and rushed for me to order.
A order of teriyaki chicken with rice totaled $22.50! I’m from NYC. That price with no egg roll or even a canned drink is absolutely ridiculous. I walked out and will never return.

I really enjoyed my basil chow fun with chicken. The price was fair for the amount of food I received. Please give them a try if you are in the area. If I travel to the region again I would go back.

Portion sizes are really good, I ordered at the counter, from paying to receiving my food took only 6 minutes. It still tasted fresh and hot!

My family and I have not been disappointed yet with this chinese restaurant. I’ve ordered different food selections on the menu several times coming there and have yet to not like it. Very tasty Chinese food and the order is fairly quick about 15- 30min wait. When I was sick with the cold/flu earlier this summer I was ordering a lot of soup from them and my go to soup was the veggie soup and the wonton soup their broth is really good for the throat and helped with my cold/flu. They do both take out and delivery no dine in yet due to covid. But the owners and staff are very nice. Overall good experience so far coming to this spot when you have a taste for Chinese food.
