Chilaquiles Rojo – it was very tasty. It needed a bit of spice though so I asked for some Tapatío, otherwise I would’ve given it 5 stars. I’d definitely have the dish again.

Very cool atmosphere, great service, and lots of options at the bar. I had a shot of Ocho Plata with my meal and it was perfect.

I also really loved the artwork they had on the walls. It was beautiful.

I have added Fonda la Catrina to my list of favorites ❤️ I’ll be back soon

Great little place. Went as a group of 7 adults… i would suggest 6 or less… it was tight. Parking in the back lot. I could see the lot filling up fast when busy. You do need to walk around the building to get to the front – no shortcuts from the parking lot. Staff was nice, food was lovely. Give it a try for a late lunch 🙂

Love the vibes, don’t love the happy hour margaritas. If I wanted a lemon lime soda, I would have ordered a Sprite! Seriously, its still $8 for the happy hour price, you can still afford to put some tequila into the drink! I promise you wont lose money if you did add the 1.5 oz of your base tequila! You will lose money if people stop showing up because the value isn’t there…

Went here for the first time today for lunch and loved the food! Very flavorful, authentic-overall delicious! I got the enchiladas verde (w/chicken) and my friend ordered the sopes, and we had chips w/guac and salsa alwell. We both very much enjoyed our meal and would come back again! 🙂

Stopped by for lunch on a Wednesday and they were busy but didn’t have to wait too long.

My husband had the Fresca margarita and I had the house. We had the mole enchiladas which were very tasty.

Food was really good and the service is great! If you like meat and cheese, I recommend the “Comalito.” I am Mexican and I can tell you that we’re very picky when it comes to label a Mexican restaurant as an excellent option/place to eat at; this is one of them! I’ll definitely go back.

On our way back visiting Crystal Mt., found this place on Google with good/high ratings.

Place was busy for a Wed evening which was a good sign. Interestingly, there was another Mexican restaurant next door which was empty! Easy paid parking next door.

We were seated right away and the server came over, took our orders and promptly had our drinks and appetizers out. Had a great time as the ambiance was pretty cool, fast service and good food.

All of the food we ordered were very good, piping hot and flavored. The only one not good was the Chilli Relleno, which felt stale and tasted weird, which to their credit they took off the tab as we couldn’t enjoy it.

Very satisfied and happy, would recommend this place. Lots of vegetarian options too.

Fantastic brunch experience! Authentic, house made tortillas, and salsas, it is clear they value good, real food with fresh ingredients. I can usually tell when something comes from a jar, can, or bag, not the case here. I will be back when I’m in town, thanks to the Fonda crew! I only wish I could have enjoyed a cocktail (had to work this afternoon).

My favorite Mexican restaurant in Georgetown! Delicious margarita. I like the spicy one, but their house is great too. The comalito is my go too with steak, chorizo, melted cheese and cactus. And of course their famous homemade corn tortillas. But don’t order it to go, not the same. Their pozole and menudo are great too! Chile verde with pork is scrumptious.

Man, I don’t understand the reviews on this place. First time writing a negative review. Chilaquiles were soggy when they should still retain some crunch. Salsa roja flavor is fine. $6 dollar upcharge for 2 eggs is wild. $4 upcharge for chicken. First Mexican restaurant I’ve been to that’s charged for chips (they were good chips though) and salsa. Staff was not exactly rude but not exactly welcoming either. Friend ordered $15 lengua tacos (qty 3) that looked more like a snack than an entree. 22% automatic gratuity for larger parties. Overall, the food and value at this place is pretty atrocious. The only redeeming quality at this place is the ambiance, outside patio was decent.
