I discovered this hidden gem on the coastal rail trail. You walk up to an iPad, place your order, and wait for it to be prepared. There is a central area for everyone to gather and eat, which makes it more of a communal space that feels positive and modern.
I ordered a hot bacon breakfast burrito and two cold empanadas to-go—Argentinian Beef and Caribbean Pork. I was feeling curious, so I went with their traditional Argentinian iced yerba mate. I did not regret any of those decisions.
The burrito was crispy on the outside and softer on the inside. I enjoyed it, but I couldn’t taste the bacon or eggs over the black bean flavor (which was great). The empanadas were light, flaky, and delicious. The meats were slow-cooked and tender, with the perfect balance of sweet, tangy, and savory. The yerba mate was so different from what I’m used to here in the U.S. It’s earthy and sweet, but not overly sweet. The only thing was I did not get an orange slice as pictured on the menu.
Overall, I loved the flavors and the easy ordering process. I’ll definitely be back to try more from their menu. I highly recommend giving this spot a try!

11/25/23 My group ordered around a dozen of mix of flavors -like chicken, beef, fish & Fennel, and pork. There is a card that tells you want the flavors of the empanadas are. Because we ordered a dozen, we got 4oz of chimichurri.
The beef flavor was good and I didn’t care for the fish & fennel.

Grateful that this place presented itself to me on Maps. Easy online ordering and pickup. Arrived just before they came out of the oven so they were literally fresh baked. The aroma in the car was anticipatorily savory. But I waited to open the deliciousness until I got home. Exceeded my expectations. So so good. Small cup of chimichurri was included with my half dozen empanadas but I’m glad I picked up an additional container because it, like each of the empanadas I ate, was fantastic.

Stopped here for a quick bite. Unfortunately the outdoor ordering kiosk was a bit slow but the staff member was very friendly and helped resolve the issue.
The empanadas are cooked fresh to order. We tried the Peruvian Chicken and Argentina Beef. Both were delicious!

Wonderful empanadas. Whenever I am in this part of town, I always stock up, and that ends up being my lunch for the next week and a half. Once you get past the entire “order using the iPad on the outside wall and wait” aspect, it’s great (and becomes one of its charms.

One of the best places in Santa Cruz, and best empanadas outside of Argentina. We tried them at Santa Cruz Mtn brewing and Humble Sea, and every flavor está riquísimo! There are options for vegetarians and vegans—surprisingly their mesoamerica blend was one of the most delicious. Prompt service, and you can order full or 1/2 dozens warm or pop in the oven to enjoy later. And if you love Nate or haven’t tried it, the tereré orange is an outstanding riff the classic.

Worth every star! Like an empanada speakeasy. Ring the bell, wait for someone to take your order and in under 10 minutes you’ll have a warm box of treasures in your possession. My fave was the black cod. And definitely get the pao de queijo

Got beef empanada with chimchurri sauce. The crust was crispy and very fluffy and light. Overall, the empanada was okay. Chimchurri sauce was an extra $1.10 but tasted nothing like it. Very disappointing. They only found takeout
