Great place for coffee and a breakfast sandwichs in the morning. They have burgers and sandwiches as well. There’s a bar style seating area and tables to sit at. It’s very family friendly with a pair of chairs for small kids, and they even have a high chair, which is surprising for a small general store.
Great food, friendly service, and locally owned. If you’re driving through, stop in and get a bite to eat!

Very nice little country store with country themed knickknacks, wall art and other items. They have basic essentials like cigarettes, snacks and treats but also a hot and cold foods counter. I met both the owner and the employee and both were very pleasant and helpful to deal with. I will definitely stop back again.

The best store in fombell. The food is good and inexpensive. It’s a great place to stop for lunch,milk,bread, drinks what ever you might need. The girls are very friendly. They sell hunting and fishing licenses. Stop in and try their sandwich challenge. (The general jed it’s grilled cheese,ham,onion, tomato,lettuce,bacon, jalapeno poppers, fried eggs, chicken tenders,cheese,burger and grilled cheese. Eat ask this in 10 minutes and it’s free. If you don’t it’s 20 bucks.

Absolutly luv, luv, luv the lil place ! You might assume some milk or lottery if so boy are you wrong ! They have the most delicious lunch specials around. A family run place with a lunch bar and great table service for your hunger pains. They also have a drive thru service for a quick on the go stop. You really must swing by to see Tracy and staff at the old fombell post office that is now FOMBELL GENERAL STORE!
