If you haven’t been here, you need to! Very small little hometown bakery, has been a local favorite for as long as I remember. The new coffee bar is a nice touch. If you happen to score some day old donuts they definitely pile them in, and my kids were more than grateful! The giant sugar cookies are my favorite, so you must try this.

We ordered a birthday cake for my sister. My heart sank when I picked it up, and they opened the box to show me. The entire cake looked like a child had decorated it. The writing was terrible. The flowers looked like someone was just learning how to pipe flowers. The buttercream icing wasn’t smooth. I was excited when they told me they could put a raspberry filling between layers instead of buttercream. The filling was uneven, way too thick in places, hardly any filling in other places. The worst thing was that the cake was VERY dry and heavy. Sorry to say this, but I would NEVER return to Foltz’s.
Well, following the owner’s gracious, professional response I DID return to Foltz’s, and I’m so glad I did. Because she is concerned about doing her best for her customers, she provided a beautiful cake in honor of my sister and brother-in-law’s 25th wedding anniversary. I am sure the photo below is truly representative of the quality work that one can expect from Foltz’s. I will, without question, take my business to Foltz’s in the future!

They came to my rescue! I needed a cake made asap for my daughter’s 21st birthday party. Not only did they get it done quickly, they decorated it perfectly with the ideas I gave them. It was so good and the frosting is her favorite buttercream!
