(This restaurant only opens once a week) I went in with decent expectations since my relatives love the place—but for me, it was a bit of a hit or miss.
The food was okay, not bad, but not great either. Maybe I just caught them on an off day. If you’re in the neighborhood and craving fried seafood, it might hit the spot, but don’t expect anything spectacular.
The fries were bland and not crispy, which was disappointing. The fried clams and fish were mediocre—nothing stood out. The best part of the meal was the fried scallops; they were fresh and had good flavor, but unfortunately, the batter didn’t stick well and kept falling off.
Overall, it’s worth trying once if you’re nearby and in the mood for fried seafood, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

I have been coming here for YEARS! The ladies are all so nice! The fish is amazing and such large portions. I moved away from Worcester for 6 years and craved it on Fridays, as soon as I moved back the same week as soon as Friday cane I got my fish!!!

The staff are two sisters, The shop was started by their mother. Why is the shop only open on Fridays? Because old Boston Catholics used to eat fish only on Fridays. this is just a friendly if you get a chance to talk to them, but they are so busy frying those fish & chips.

I highly recommend the coleslaw from this place you have to pay extra for it but it’s worth it.
What to try :- honestly I liked the shrimp more than the fish.

Absolutely disgusting. I took a few bites of my fish and chips before noticing RODENT DROPPINGS in the food. I felt instantly sick. There is no excuse for something that foul and unsafe being served. I will never be back, and nobody else should risk eating here.

I love these small family owned places that are very unfortunately disappearing all too frequently nowadays. Friendly staff and great prices. The food?Fantastic fish and chips and the whole belly clams are absolutely amazing, all with homemade coleslaw that is delicious. I haven’t missed a Friday night dinner from Foley’s in 17 years. Thank you Foley and Son’s. I love this place. I’d give them 20 Stars if I could ⭐!!!

Fish was incredible – not dry – moist and flaky with that great, double-fried crispy outside. Fries were underneath the fish and absorbed all the grease and were super soggy.
Definitely worth it for the fish but the fries were just bagged frozen fries. Great tartar sauce too. Portion of fish was solid.
