Cons:
The bowls weren’t clean. Take your finger and run it along the plates and you can tell they haven’t been properly cleaned. The other servers were kind of nice but we came at a time where it wasn’t busy and it took our first server 22 minutes to come back, we timed it. We saw another person just waiting for someone to come back for at least 30 minutes.
We enjoy the salad bar.
The variety of meat was great. It’s just there not accommodating on “well done” options not like TDB that they go extra mile. Soup option is also limited to 1.
Love the Christmas decorations and the wonderful Christmas tree. Ambiance was classic fine Dinning style.
Service are good. Price is the typical buffet range. Which is about $ 50-100 per person.
Overall we had a wonderful Christmas lunch. …
call to be greeted. We were not able to sit outside and had to sit in the very busy dinning room. The hostess took our drink order and said the wait staff works as a team which was confusing as we kept having to wave people down for things, check on our seafood or check on drinks. The woman’s restroom is not in good shape. Door in first stall doesn’t close right, Went to put my purse on the hook, it’s off the wall. The sink was cracked and dirty. Just not what we are used to experiencing at FOGO. We have been to locations all over the US. Food was great and drinks were great. Just expected better service and restroom conditions.
Went back today on a slow Sunday to give them another chance since we had the free dinner yall sent. Again horrible service. Our server didn’t even come to us and give us bread, the basics nothing. We had to go ask for the flip for meat card from the hostess. I then went to tell the hostess we’ve had no server, and we want bread and sides. After 15 mins of nothing we asked for a server finally came and said she’d bring bread. She charged us for two full experience dinners even though I just eat the salad bar. After waiting almost an hour to cash out because she said our code didn’t work that you provided we didn’t even want them to fix the bill. I hope you can get your service together because it’s awful. Until then please go to Texas or terragaucha they’re both close drives with way better service!
Salad bar – amazing spread. They have cheeses including monchego. They have olives, marinated mushrooms, corn salad, arugula salad, and a variety of other items.
Brazilian cheese bread – is warm and brought to the table with meals. It’s spectacular.
Deserts – I want to highly recommend the crème brûlée cheese cake. It’s one of the best deserts I have ever had.
Go for more than the meat.
From the time we walked in and were greeted, everything exceeded our expectations. We’d been here once before, but this night seemed like it was extra magical. Jorge greeted us and would also be our server. He was pleasant, very informative about the food and drink options, and was attentive without being intrusive. He and the rest of the staff, including Issac and the manager Ansley were all very gracious and welcoming.
The food, of course, was amazing; that should be a given. But honestly the experience is what really won us over. We weren’t just served a meal; there was a genuine connection made, and I’m certain that the next time we go back our new friends will remember and welcome us with love and more great food.
Highlights: The bread, mashed potatoes, and yucca fries are all superb. The prime rib, grilled cheese with honey, and pork chop were the best items of the night.
