We visited FdC on Father’s Day weekend. The food was pretty good. There was not much circulation of lamb chops, but we asked and they arrived. So don’t be afraid to ask is the lesson I’d encourage folks to take away. The other lesson: read your receipt carefully. We were a group of three seated at a 4 top. The receipt reflected 4 people. So, I had to have that corrected. Then, I read the receipt further and we were charged for BOTH lunch and dinner. We were there for 1.5 hours. We arrived at 2 pm. There was no sign about the transition from lunch to dinner… It took talking to a lot of people to have their error fixed on this. Overall, it was a nice visit. I think if I were to return I would be clear to the server logging our table onto their system, and tell them “three people for lunch.” And learn the name of my server because there was a lot of transitions.

My wife and I were looking at several restaurants for our anniversary, and we ended up canceling our reservations at Lauberge Chez Francois. We have been to this Fogo De chao several times, and we knew it was exactly what we wanted. I made reservations at 5:30pm which we were late to due to the DMV traffic. They were very accommodating and had us seated within 2 minutes. As always, their food was superb, multiple cuts were perfectly cooked, and not overly seasoned. We had a whole service team for our meal Tenley, Santiago, and Nicole were over the top in attentiveness, and made the experience 11 out of 10.

Great service and fresh selections of meats as well as the salad bar. This restaurant is conveniently located in Pike & Ross for those of us who do not want to go into D.C. We were greeted by the hostess. It was a weekday rather busy. The Restaurant Manager, Luis. C, was extremely hospitable, and ensured that our family was seated in a comfortable area. My mom has a bad knee so being closer to the salad bar was ideal. Luis was attentive throughout the entire night, and made sure that we were taken care of. It was a special evening for us. We had a wonderful time with the family and enjoyed the delicious food, the wonderful service from the restaurant manager (Luis), as well as our server.

Fogo De Chao is really about the experience. The food was just ok. It’s a bunch of red meat that isn’t well seasoned. There were not any servers carrying chicken to the tables. If you want chicken, you have to order it specifically from a waiter, and they went to get it out of the kitchen. We did that, and it wasn’t good at all. The chicken was overcooked (dry) and not seasoned AT ALL. Noah was one of our waiters, and he gets 5 stars. Very attentive!!! The other waiter who was assigned to our table we didn’t see her much. The atmosphere is about a 3.5. Tables are a little to close together for fine dining. I wouldn’t say it was bad, but for $250 I could have gotten some seasoned food & more room from the neighboring tables.

The place was beautiful and the ambiance is enlightening. The large selection of meats are enough reasons to come back. I especially enjoyed the lamb. Servers Moises and Santiago were very friendly and attentive. They made the experience a 10/10.

It was better than I expected. Had a great time. Music was nice meat were good and our server Maivel was splendid. Made our time that much more enjoyable. The Jorge’s sour is definitely a recommendation for a drink. Above all wonderful time!!

My boyfriend and I come to Fogo all of the time for the happy hour at the bar. We love the food and the service is great – Moises regularly helps us out and is always friendly and attentive! We definitely recommend the Caipirnha cocktail and Brazilian lemonade as well as the the beef rib and creme brûlée.

Moises at the bar was amazing! His service was impeccable, not only is he attentive and professional, he’s also a magician. I definitely would recommend this restaurant to anyone. I had my speaker program here and from the very beginning the customer service was great! Sales Managers were responsive and the manager at the restaurant was really willing to work with how we wanted the presentation with food to go! Restaurant Manager was on his A game. Leydi and Rodrigo did a fantastic job with 31 people and a lot going on. I highly recommend a speaker program and/or a business meeting at this truly fantastic location.
