The Gauchos Flavio, Linder, and Bruno were fantastic. Every cut of meat was perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. Their friendly personalities and great energy made the whole experience even better.
The salad bar and sides were fresh and delicious, with so many great options to pair with the meats. Between the food, service, and atmosphere, Fogo de Chão is a place I’ll definitely be coming back to. Highly recommend!
We have had a rough couple months with my mother-in-law’s failing health. Saturday was my wife’s 50th birthday and we just wanted to have a good dinner and try to celebrate this momentous day.
My wife was REALLY wanting some chicken legs, but the first (as it turned out, the ONLY TIME) the Gaucho turned away from our table and a large group a few tables away took what was left.
Also, the only meats that made it to our table were bottom and top sirloin. There was NO OTHER variety of meats that made it to our table. My wife was not eating – and when asked if something was wrong or if she was waiting for something….we stated (to MULTIPLE PEOPLE) that she wanted meat as rare as possible, and that she really wanted chicken legs.
After MULTIPLE requests for chicken legs, a skewer with 2 (TWO) chicken legs was brought to our table. The legs had apparently been sitting for quite some time…they were luke-warm and EXTREMY DRY. In acknowledgement of her birthday, she was offered a dessert. She LOVES crème brulé, so that is what she ordered. The custard was not real flavorful, and was warm bordering on HOT…so it was not enjoyable; and, in fact, inedible.
So, after having a very rough year, and a VERY BAD weekend…my wife BARELY ate and this dining experience RUINED her 50th birthday ‘celebration’.
