Food is tasty & they’ve halal lamb & chicken also available.
The service needs improvement. Staff is slow & doesn’t respond properly.
Layout is nice, Restaurant is beautiful and has large seating capacity.
I’m a great fan of the Brazilian restaurants and with a party of three we dined here last night. The place was cold and our waitress’s voice did not carry to convey what she wanted to tells us. I had to lip read. The food was its usual excellence, with gauchos serving it, however, the wait service fell short, a sign outside stated “Happy Hour” beverages, and according to our waitress, it is ongoing all day. The Long Island Iced Tea had to be sent back because it wasn’t made with liquor. When the replacement came, it was a bit better. As the restaurant was clearing out with less patrons, the temperature dropped to levels that would interfere with digestion because the air conditioning was on high, we politely placed a request to have it lowered.
When we received the bill, due to the dim lighting, we didn’t scrutinize it, we left a 20% tip and left. It wasn’t until we got home that I noticed the Long Island Iced Tea was charged @ $14.75 as opposed to the $10.00 “Happy Hour” price indicated on the sign outside. Additionally, the following items which we never ordered, nor did we receive appeared on the bill: Glass Casa Lap. Sauv. Bla (2 @15.50), and a Virgin drink. There was a total overcharge of $46.82 at this restaurant that shouldn’t have been. I highly recommend reviewing your bill thoroughly prior to paying.
Disclosure: I had reservations at 5pm, the place was empty when I got there so I am confused why everything was not fresh and the service wasn’t excellent. I did not take pics of the market table as I left my phone at the table, and I was too shy to start taking pics of things at the market table to be seen as “complaining”. Also, I didn’t ask for a manager as this time with my parents was special and I didn’t want to ruin the moment. I do have a picture of the creme brulee.
