We have been to several state parks and always wanted to try this restaurant. Let’s just say It did not disappoint at this state park! It has the best fries I’ve had ,hands down, of almost any restaurant ever! The burgers were juicy and cooked to perfection. The waitress we had was super nice and even brought us some of their version of fried apple fritters. I don’t know if they are just rolling out that dessert because it is not on their menu online.

While we were at Sequoia Lodge, the local restaurant, Foggy Bottom catered the two meals that we had. Great food. Best bacon ever… best green beans in the world.

Well spaced out and clean. If your not a guest at the lodge, make sure to have your parking registered.

Brittany was our server and she was amazing. Great attitude and people skills, quick service and not overly attentive.
The food. AMAZING! Husband had the club sandwich which took up half his plate and I had the chicken and waffles. Definitely try the ‘critters’.

Delicious home cooked fried or grilled food items . I ate the grilled chicken tenders, fries and fried okra. Very tasty. Looking forward to dining there again soon.

Staff was very friendly,Gabe our waiter was very good. My husband usually likes the fish but tonight it was fishy tasting and had a lot of dark meat. NOT good! My pork chop had too much seasoning, French fries had too much seasoning, but the burgers are always good, and why don’t they have rolls instead of just cornbread? Mash potatoes were good. I’m so disappointed its so close to home we wish it was better.
