I really wanted this place to be a “triple threat” but it’s was just a double for me. The vibe and decor are really cool and the staff is absolutely amazing. So of course I was anticipating the meal to be the best bbq I’ve ever tasted. I will say it wasn’t awful, but definitely not the best ever. It was just good -just not crazy good. Would I come back to eat here? It’s possible because the atmosphere is really fun and the service is great but with all the other restaurants in downtown Lawrenceville, I would most likely try something different.

We were in town for the Christkindl Market, but it was so crazy crowded so we hugged in here for lunch. The meat was good and lean, but I’m not sure the rub really added anything. The servers were friendly, and our food came out super fast. I had the pulled pork with a nice little side salad while my husband had pork with sweet potato fries ( ) and cole slaw. I liked the rustic decor and the pictures in the hallway to the restroom made me smile. I’m not sure if they have their own parking, but they’re right off the square and parking is close by through the adjacent alley.

This was our first time here. We tried a bit of everything. Sides were delicious and generously portioned: Brunswick stew, collards, baked beans and sweet pot fries.

The meats were tasty and generously portioned as well. Except the pulled pork and ribs were a bit dry.

First time visit today for lunch. Our server was excellent, the food came out quick, hot and absolutely delicious. I had 1/2 slab of ribs, which were very tender falling off the bone, potato salad and collards which were all seasoned well and very, very good. The restaurant was clean (bathroom too) and inviting at both the individual tables and booths. I will return to try other items on the menu. Great place and atmosphere.

BEST BBQ in the area!!! Really good brisket, ribs are fantastic and the BBQ chicken salad is amazing!! The sweetest staff and the owner is so personable and really cares about the product he is serving. He talked to our family so passionately about the meats and we got some really cute glassware and shirts! We keep coming back!

Food was good but needed a little more southern soul to get it to five stars. Waiter was a young man and his game was on point 5 stars for his service and he will indeed go far. In fact, his back must hurt from carrying that restaurant’s business… Anyway, the atmosphere seemed like it was a bunch of white folk from city hall or any restaurant in Utah.

I love BBQ and had high hopes for this restaurant, but I was disappointed with most of the food. I ordered the pit master and got the pulled pork that was cold, dry, and flavorless, the beef brisket, that while tender was also cold and lacked flavor, the savior of the meats was the ribs, they were fantastic. The Brunswick stew, fried ocra, and backed beans were delicious. Sadly the red beans and rice and collars green were too spicy to enjoy. The sweet tea was good southern sweet tea. My husband got the caramelized onion burger and was not happy that the caramelized onions were served as a sweet jelly. The onion rings were fantastic!

I stopped on a Sunday to have dinner. I ordered the Foggy Signature Sandwich, loaded potato salad, and 2 smoked sausage sliders. The potato salad was very good. The brisket had plenty of meat and was pretty tasty. The atmosphere was nice as it wasn’t to busy for a Sunday evening. Will definitely eat here again. Parking can be a bit off if it’s really busy downtown.

Food was decent and the portions were good. Im pretty sure anything you order will be to your liking. The service was friendly and fast. Server was knowledgeable abt their dishes which was nice. Offered to go cups our drinks (tea and lemonade both were and not to be wasted). I know I had pulled chicken, coleslaw, and potato salad but cant recall what mu date had. He was very pleased with it as his plate was mostly clean. I would def go again.

First time finding an amazing BBQ place near Lawrenceville. I was pleased with the flavorful brisket and baked beans. Taylor was our server and she was extremely informative. We will be coming back.

The only thing I wish there was more of was a bigger bear selection and cocktails would be nice.
