My initial review is after this update. The food was quite good the first time I went, but it went downhill over time unexpectedly. After the most recent time I went it is unlikely I will return. I don’t know what happened, but it is a disappointment.
Some of the most authentic and by far some of the best mexican food I have ever had. Additionally the staff is extremely friendly and the atmosphere is quite pleasant. I have come back many times and will come here many more times.

Recently I stopped by and grabbed take out for dinner. In the past, I’ve had their Tortas and they blew me away. This time not so much. The wait time was super long, almost 40 mins. The staff was nice and made up for it but I definitely advise calling ahead for takeout. The enchiladas were ok but not worth the wait.

Best Mexican food I’ve ever had. Charming experience and nice server. Salsa is authentic and to die for. Sopas so tender and fluffy. Civeche top notch and avacado fresh! Prices are best part. Extremely reasonable for what you’re paying. Dining inside is open and they also have patio. Charming area in west end. I will be back!

Stopped here on the drive back from Boston to New York. This was a great find! The food was fabulous, very fresh and well presented. The restaurant is very clean, nice decor and authentic music. Thanks Fogata!!

Outstanding, authentic Mexican restaurant. The staff was very kind and made sure we were satisfied, and boy were we. The food was outstanding from fajitas to the burrito and enchiladas.
We were just passing through and the location seems a fair bit off the beaten path, but didn’t let that stop you from giving it a try. Make sure to ask for their spicy salsa too!

Been here about 3 times and I’m glad I discovered this hidden gem. Everything from the well seasoned meat in the tacos to the tasty rice and beans , this is definitely authentic and homestyle cooking. My girlfriend loved the horchata drink and I was glad that they do serve chips and salsa upon arrival. We enjoyed eating there , very clean and pleasant environment.
