Over priced Applebees vibes. The food wasn’t bad, but nothing I’d go out of my way for. The atmosphere was okay. Service was okay. Not a bad experience but definitely not a great experience. Over priced, over hyped, for a very very average result. There’s so many incredible places to eat in Deadwood, I definitely wouldn’t return here. We ordered a Moscow Mule flight to go with our dinner and they tasted like edible floor cleaner. This is definitely a skip, don’t waste your money for the atmosphere.

Absolutely a 5 star experience, both days! Breakfast with my wife, ambience and view are perfect for a nice peaceful meal. The food is incredible and the prices are really fair considering the quality of food and portion size. The chopped steak with sausage gravy was amazing and the filet my wife had was super tender and flavorful. I HIGHLY recommend eating a meal here, I’m confident you will not be disappointed!

Looking through Google we walked from the Mineral Palace to grab some dinner. At the time they had their parking lot tore up but since we walked it was all good. We walked into the front portion of the hotel where they had the card gaming and there was a smell throughout the lobbying area not unpleasant at all. We walked to the left past a couple of fast food restaurants and a food court to get to the actual restaurant, right outside its doors were the restrooms. We were immediately seated, the decor was updated and fancy, no dress code down to earth patrons. Our waiter was friendly, attentive, and suggested items he thought we might like… he was spot on! The flight of the night that I got was delicious so ask the waiter as it is on the menu to do so. He also suggested the huckleberry mule, if you like Moscow mules you’ll like this! Friendly staff and quick service will go back.

Great hidden away steakhouse. Even burgers are made with ground filet. Wedge of lettuce seems like a quarter of a head of lettuce. Love the ranch, tastes homemade.
Waitress remembered me and kept my soda filled. Even as busy as she was, she was always there for us. Deserts ate small but yummy as can be. Lunch and dinner are both awesome and prices are reasonable for filet and other meals. It’s where we are at least once a day while in deadwood.
Parking sucks. And they are at the end past a food court, so I’m not sure how many people know about it.

We visit about three times a year and have times been both elated and utterly disappointed regarding the dining in Deadwood. Consistency in great food in service isn’t something we had found in this town until we found FLYT. Hands down the best in town for great food at a reasonable price and the service is by far superior and CONSISTENT when compared to others.

Poor service, grossly overpriced “food”, and no apologies about anything when asked about service.
The atmosphere is a chic-astral-cowboy-sports bar combo. So just odd. Giant steer pictures staring at me between globes of multicolored glass. There was also an abundance of trash on the ground and dirty tables around us in an empty restaurant.
The “salad” literally had me laughing out loud. In all sincerity, it is a quarter of a head of lettuce lobbed off (I imagine by some sort of guillotine). There is no garnish to this monstrosity, only leaves and a massive pool (unfit for swimming) of ranch. Clearly a poor attempt of “class” making a side nearly inedible, incredibly lazy, and absolutely ridiculous.
The steak…mind you $30 per plate…was a joke, but neither of us were laughing at this one. I ordered a medium rare and my partner ordered medium well. Both were incredibly fatty and had the flavor of a wet piece of chuck steak. My partners steak was seared to a crisp with black charcoal as a fine crust that adorned the entire surface. She tried to eat what she could, but had to excuse herself as she felt ill upon eating it. I attempted to talk to the staff about our experience and was told the steak “just came that way” and the rest of the meal was standard and up to their expectations.
As if all this wasn’t enough, the accomplices to this crime were dry frozen-to-fryer fries that I could get at Walmart and toast that could have come with a McGriddle. Absolutely disgusted by the entirety of this “meal.”
Do yourself a favor and avoid this place as you would avoid a rotting deer carcass on the way out of deadwood.

The ranch is what I come for….for some reason their wedge salad is delicious..hmmm. It’s the ranch and crackers. The rib eye was good and the potato was ok. The add ons were delicious, the wine sauce, mushrooms and onions! Made the steak! The portobello mushroom flyt was huge, but was not warm enough which took away from the dish. The blondie brownie desert was disgusting due to the taste of less than fresh brownie ( I’ve had it before and it was really fresh, this time was a complete disappointment because they tried to cover it up with apples and ice cream).

Wow! The bagel & lox was incredible and it was as if the chef took a trip to the Strawberry Fields Forever that the Beatles speak of when plating my side of fruit, there was so much! Amazing! The atmosphere was also incredible, a nice contrast to all of the Wild West-isms I have experienced while in Deadwood. I feel like I’m in Back to the Future, the way I traveled from saloons to this futuristic modern absolute delicious place!

Staff are friendly, food is great, and the atmosphere is fun! Highly recommend breakfast, lunch, or dinner here!
