Stopped in for coffee and cheesecake. Pleasantly surprised and I left wanting to come back to enjoy dinner or happy hour here. There’s an impressive brick oven here, so we can watch the pizza magic happen. A full bar service in the back. Aaand, they sell pull tabs for a little “try your luck” fun!

My sister & I had breakfast this morning. It was perfect. The thing we loved was the seasoning of everything. Balanced, inviting and delicious. Jennifer was awesome! Plenty of parking, modern vibes, clean space, cozy atmosphere, full bar available. It wasn’t busy when I came in, so I was seated right away. The lasagna was tasty and the service was great! They didn’t have the cannoli that time but I will definitely be back to try it.

If you like oven fired pizza, this is a great deal right now. Flying Tomato has a 3 topping, 2 pizza deal for $20.25. I love their garlic chicken pizza and we took advantage of the deal a couple of weeks ago.
Happy hour includes $2 off appetizers. Their zucchini sticks are light, crispy and delicate.
Tonight we took advantage of that great deal again. This time it was garlic chicken and Canadian bacon and pineapple. These pizzas are normally $23 each, so this is a screaming deal. They skimp on nothing when it comes to the toppings.
We had mud pie for dessert. It was very good.
They have other great deals too. Monday is all you can eat pasta.

Absolutely phenomenal service. The food was great any atmosphere was amazing our server was incredible and is a great and fun place for kids as well again food was amazing and our server, Lauren was incredible. I would highly recommend this for anybody with a family that wants to go out and have a good meal at a good price and enjoy themselves.

Let’s talk about the food. Oh. My. Goodness. I started with their famous fish and chips, and let me tell you, the fish was flaky and perfectly cooked, encased in a light and crispy batter that wasn’t greasy at all. The chips were seasoned just right. It was a classic done exceptionally well.
But the real showstopper? Their unique creations! I had to try the Strawberry Shortcake Fish Bowl drink, and yes, you read that right. It sounds wild, but trust me, it’s a stroke of genius! Refreshing, fruity, and with a hint of that classic vanilla .. strawberry shortcake flavor? it was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. Seriously, where else are you going to find something like that?
And then there are the pizzas. We ordered a couple to share, and I was blown away by the quality and the price. These aren’t your run-of-the-mill pies. Laura gave us the best service we’ve probably ever had. We came in with 3 kids, one of which was having a meltdown. Laura made it a point to ask her name, her favorite present for Christmas and let her spin the wheel for her favorite dessert coupon. The inside is clean and inviting and the food was honestly amazing. My wife had the Marco polo and I had the fish and chips. Kids had spegetti and a pizza. Everything was exceptional and this is the exact reason why I listen to my wife about trying new places. Laura works every weekend and that’s definitely when we’ll be back.

A+ totally worth the trip! Quaint, sophisticated rustic and comfortable atmosphere. Great service and energy from all staff, food was absolutely delicious and everyone’s meal was just as good. Chef/owner is amazing! Drove in from Silverdale and we will be back!

HOW DOES THIS PLACE NOT HAVE 5 STARS!? I hate myself for not eating here sooner! YOU NEED TO GO NOW! JUST ABSOLUTELY AAAAAMAZING! I can’t wait to recommend this place to more people! Worth the drive from anywhere for the quality food and service! Crying this place is so good, would give 10 stars if I could, Shelly was amazing and attentive and whoever cooked my food deserves a medal and a trophy because I’m such a picky/snooty eater.

Flying Tomato in Spanaway is a decent restaurant, the atmosphere has great modern vibes and is very clean and welcoming, service is fantastic from the times iv visited and waitresses do a good job at checking in.
However the food could be better, I been there for breakfast lunch and dinner with different meals, unfortunately the breakfast was not very good with simple pancakes, the pancakes were hard and seemed to be cooked to fast even though they were cold, the serving of bacon was wrong with what I ordered and the eggs tasted funky, perhaps not cooked all the way, remind me of powdered eggs. I had the fish and chips a different day and was not impressed, the fish had no real taste at all not even the batter and fell apart when you picked them up, and you only got a handful of fries which were ok, for both meals the price just didn’t add up.
The two things this place does get right is their pizza, some of the best pizza Iv had, everything tastes fresh and looks good, their burgers are also excellent.
I want to like this place but a lot of their food doesn’t add up to the price, I’ll most likely be back for the pizza but that will be it. With some improvements with the food quality and quantity this would be an awesome restaurant.
