Awesome pizza spot. Felt very welcome from the start. Two young guys working there were super dedicated, and the quality of the kitchen and the pizza really surprised me.
I tried the Meat Lovers — fresh dough, very well topped, and a tomato sauce that stands out without being overpowering. Prices are great for the quality.
Definitely stopping here again next time I’m back in town. Thanks to the whole team!

This “whirled famous” pizza spot let our daughter design her own birthday pizza, and Aaron and Ren treated her like the Picasso of pepperoni. Their friendliness and service deserve an award—or at least a lifetime supply of cheese. We left with a very happy soon-to-be birthday girl. Highly recommended, unless you hate joy and pizza… which seems unlikely.

I was getting a pizza for a friend of mine with a gluten allergy, flying pie was the only place that delivered in my area with reviews to back their commitment to allergen safety. She liked the pizza so much she was suspicious that it was a traditional gluten-y crust and that she was about to be very sick, but so far no problems! I originally ordered salami without checking and got worried, but Chris helped me on the phone offered to check every ingredient but I thought we should play it safe and switch to basil and spinach just in case and to not bother Chris too much. Very accommodating, very safe and according to my friend very tasty as well.

I ordered a pick up pizza a month ago. Picked it up and there were only 2 visible employees. Thought that was strange as these places were always busy. Got home and the pizza was tin and very tough crust. Let them know and a lady contacted me to have one on them. I went in today to see what was going on. The pickup door was locked and a man was there to pick up. I went in the main door and told the lady there. They have a sign home of the tossed pizza. Well they now cold press them. Two young people working there and NO CUSTOMERS there between 12:30 to 1:00. This place use to be a delight to go to. Now it’s young people not knowing what they are doing. The new owners of this local chain are taking this place down. Don’t go there. Dominos will do better at a better price.update. They responded that they toss their dough. I spoke with a gentleman there and he told me they just use the cold press. Also I drive by there around lunch and dinner time and there is no cars in the lot. Think they are not being honest. The new ownership has ruined a GREAT place to enjoy the environment of a use to be a good place

If you’re after good vibes and a friendly crowd, this is the spot. It’s social, everyone’s treated me nicely (even the guy who bumped into me apologized!), and the handy to-go door means people grabbing deliveries can pop in and bounce without disrupting the flow. They get busy, but the personal touch is there, Ren even went out of her way to count my growlers. As a person seeking a quiet place in community, the wait is totally worth it.

My personal experience & review IS NOT to discourage anyone from coming here & supporting this business! I spend a lot of time in the kitchen & this place is just not for me PERSONALLY. So dont be discouraged from coming here and giving Flying Pie a try! Their habanero pizza is definitely a good item & something i look forward to keep trying in the coming summers. Thanks-Flying Pie team for being here all these years & trying your best for us! We appreciate ya!
We’ve been wanting to try Flying Pie Whirled Famous”Gourmet” pizza for the longest time since moving to boise.
So I signed up for their rewards program earlier in the year & patiently waited for my birthday pizza !
As their prices just seemed wild to me. The pies MUST BE amazing!
As a gourmand mageircophile myself ,who makes everything from scratch, its a real struggle to find well prepared food at a fair price for quality ingredients.
Well, sadly to say this was not the place .
A 10″ pizza for $9.99?? What a bargain right? Nope.
The overpriced toppings are insane!
+$1.99 for Fire roasted tomatoes
+$1.99 for slices of Jalapeño
+$1.99 for Spinach
+$1.99 for Linguica
+$1.99 for Link Sausage
+$1.99 for Pepperoni.
The amount of toppings for how much they charge is just mind boggling to me. 8 slices of Jalapeño, 4 slices of linguica, some pepperoni, the spinach was hidden between the crust & cheese not allowing it to cook very well, link sausage amount was reasonable but lacked flavor, & the fire roasted tomatoes were PLENTIFUL. Their cheese was the only thing we could really taste. Cheese was delicious! The ranch was also delicious! It’s like a Kens Steakhouse brand ranch .
I appreciated this 10″ Birthday pizza ! Thank-you team!

Delicious pizza especially the Contest Combo. Love ❤️ that this location also has buffalo wings to make a complete meal. Sourdough crust is a great tasty option. Also, Cade is the best!

Love their pizza, but use caution when ordering one for delivery. They use DoorDash so once the driver picks the pizza up, Flying Pie relinquish all responsibility. My order was delivered 20 minutes past the time they said it would be based upon the time that driver picked the order up, and was delivered cold. And of course, flying pie does nothing but say they’ll work on improving their delivery service. Horrible experience ordering delivery from this location
