It is a simple dining room with some outdoor tables too. The sushi was fresh with lots of options. It is an extensive menu, not all sushi – but that is all I was there for. Convenient location to The Fisherman’s Wharf area, doors down from Argonaut Hotel and less than 1 block from the Cablecar station.

Sushi was phenomenal! So fresh and delicious- you can tell the fish is great quality! We would definitely return. Spicy tuna and negihama rolls were dynamite!

I was seated right away at Ninja Sushi, which was a great start. The food came out impressively fast without sacrificing quality. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The service was friendly and efficient, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m craving sushi!

This was my first experience eating sushi. Everything tasted so good. And for Fisherman’s Wharf area it was relaxing and not too crowded on a Friday night. I would definitely go back next time we are in town!

Such a cute, chill place for sushi meal. The staff were so nice and the food was great. The size of the rolls are huge too! Can’t wait to come back.

One of the few places in SF where you can get authentic Korean bbq and sushi that’s not sunset. Highly recommend, and the owner comes up and talks with you

Food was delicious and the presentation was fantastic. It looked like what a commercial would show you. Employee s were friendly and there was even a band playing chill music right behind the restaurant. Loved it.

A house run by a couple who have lived in San Francisco for nearly 30 years. Kind, reasonable price and kind. The taste is excellent, and if you want to eat Korean food, I recommend you to go to this restaurant. Roll is the main dish, but sashimi and sushi are also excellent. Japanese beer is available for draft beer. All menus can be packed, so it’s good to eat at a hotel.

A Disappointing Experience at Flying Ninja

We had walked by Flying Ninja many times over the last few months and always wanted to try it. Finally, we got the chance to do a takeout. I stopped by the menu outside for a glance and was pleasantly welcomed by the lady and gentleman working there. The menu looked very inviting. I decided on a Sherek Roll and their Salmon Special, which came with a few pieces of nigiri, sashimi, and something else I do not recall.

I had read the reviews, and I was hoping for a pleasant experience, but we were disappointed. The fish did not taste fresh at all, and we did not finish either dish because it just did not feel right.

As mentioned above, I had read other fellow Yelpers’ reviews and ratings, so I am guessing Flying Ninja had a bad day on that date. As for the environment, the outside seating area looked fine, but when I walked in, the tables and the counter were a bit messy, so if we were to eat there, I would not sit inside.

I am giving them a three-star rating instead of two to account for the possibility that this was one of those bad-timing situations, and things are usually much better.
