I’ve been meaning to write this review since December, all I’ve got to stay is that this place is really great, good food, great craft beer, family friendly. This is one of my favorite craft breweries that I’ve visited, mainly for the service. They beers and food were great but the service is out of this world. If Jacob still works there he deserves a raise.

My visits to Flying Heart have always been great! I go about once a month, and the food, service, and atmosphere are excellent! On my most recent visit, I showed the wait person, Ember, a photo of a pizza I had there a few months ago (I didn’t remember its name). She figured it out, and I had the Cajun pizza and its savory sauce, called Gris Gris. I also had a side salad—so big it could be a meal by itself. They also have a good selection of drinks. Overall, the food was good, Ember was attentive and constantly checked to see how I was doing, and the atmosphere was relaxed. As always, I had a great time. I highly recommend Flying Heart Brewing and Pub!

We were here last Christmas, and a local said we needed to try this place. Unfortunately they were closed. We’re back for Thanksgiving and gave them a try. Definitely worth the wait. The food was great along with the super friendly bartender! She was really helpful in assisting us with navigating the menu. Looking forward to next year!

Fantastic food! We were highly impressed by the cauliflower crust pizza! Both the Day Breaker and the Meat Jeffro were absolutely wonderful! Highly recommend . Service was fair, due to us being a large group of about 20 totally understand being a bit overloaded. Overall definitely visit while in Natchitoches like we did. Please don’t automatically add the tip to my ticket and allow me to tip (handsomely) on my own.

I ordered pizza and wings. To start the atmosphere was very nice and staff very friendly. Pizza was moderate size and priced to atmosphere. I would rate it a 7 out of 10. The wings 6 out of 10 they could have been a little more crispy. This was a to-go order and paid online along with tip. I was missing the ranch dip that I ordered extra. Now I guess it’s my fault I didn’t check bag before leaving but what was the tip for then. The tip is for the person putting the order together to make sure it is correct. Just saying…

This place is a sleeper, don’t let that outside fool you! Clearly used to be an old stop on the trains and they have converted it into this lovely spacious brewery. Brewing their own seasonal taps and a few guest taps. They do have a full bar as well for the non-beer drinkers in the group. The 6 of Hearts and LA Amber are wonderful! Be careful of the Daywrecker. As the name suggests, it will wreck you day if you’re not careful! This thing sits at 10.1% and doesn’t taste like it. It’ll sneak up on ya! But my goodness is it good and light. I know, things that usually don’t describe a 10% beer. But they have done it.

Pretzel bites were wonderful! Soft and perfectly salted. The mustard is where it’s at. But get booth the beer cheese and mustard if you are sharing. You’ll want it. Pizzas are perfect size to not share if you don’t want to. Good thin, NY crust as promised.

Staff was super friendly and had great suggestions for what to try.

This is one cool place! It’s an old cotton warehouse that was re-purposed and totally redone. We loved the Greek salad. The Pepperoni Heat pizza had an amazing spicy sauce. it was soooo good!! I tried one of their craft beers, the Louisiana Amber. That was the smoothest best amber I’ve ever had! Their brownie was fresh out of the oven, and boy, was it good! We highly recommend this place. The people working here were awesome!

It has been a little chilly in the barn but otherwise a great atmosphere. Our server Halie was awesome! We liked the beer a lot – Louisiana Amber and Barrel 52, both on the sweeter side. Margherita pizza was very tasty, a little oily. The Spinach Buff sandwich was great and we also liked the pretzel bites.

After the first trip we had to go back. Pizza is amazing, friendly staff, fresh brew, what else can you ask for? Definitely try it out. The other appetizer, their garlic cheese bread i think? Was so good the 2nd time instead of the pretzel it was gone before pizza came out.

Good options for the different beer lovers as well as full bar. The pizza and appetizer pretzel hit the spot while we watched some NFL games. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about their beer. Will recommend while visiting the area and will go again hopefully soon.
